A Four Seasons is always a safe bet for excellent service, a well-located and maintained property and above all, five star consistency (you know the layout, bathroom, bed, sheets, towels and furniture will be high quality without being quirky).

Centrally located in Worli - but like many places in Mumbai, a few metres from a slum - the hotel is a nice change from the old Juhu/Nariman Point choices. A well-laid out hotel with good FS-quality rooms, they have a nice roof-top bar - Aer (not great during the monsoon season) and a great restaurant - San Qi - offering modern takes on four different Asian cuisines: Thai, Japanese, Chinese and Indian. The breakfast offering at Prato is excellent. The only shortfall in my opinion is the lobby bar which while serviceable, doesn't have much atmosphere.

As with all good FS hotels however, the distinguishing feature is the outstanding service. Here they really shone. In addition to quick turnover on laundry and the like, the staff outdid themselves when - suffering from severe jet-lag - I inadvertently threw out a credit card after the (in-room) registration. After scouring the trash, they managed to find my card and returned it to me safely. Given I was to be on the road for another week, this was a godsend.

Check-out was very efficient and their chauffeur service was outstanding, with a wireless connection in the car. The saving on roaming charges alone help cover the costs!

I love Four Seasons Hotels. However, this one disappointed a bit. The rooms were fairly bland and soulless. The rooms were okay but the beds were quite uncomfortable and even from the 25th floor you could smell the slums below. The room was large and the bathroom was very luxurious. I adored the L'Occitane toiletries. The service was as outstanding as usual. The staff were obliging and attentive. They really made our stay special. The breakfast was very good and there was a huge variety of healthy food on offer. The restaurant, San Qi, was very good but lacked flair and originality. All together another excellent hotel will perfect service. Next time I would stay in a more characterful/traditional hotel.

Room Tip: Pick a premier room on the higher floors for better quality, more convenience and an inspiring view.

The best part of this hotel is not the great breakfast, the super comfortable beds, the spacious bathrooms, the AER bar at the top of the hotel, or the wonderful staff. The best thing is that they offer free yoga classes every day at 7 am and 7 pm. This is one thing that no other hotel I know offers. For a busy professional, this is helps to start the day well or de-stress at the end. This is an example of the small things that set a hotel apart from others.

On the service, I am treated like family every time I go. Special treats in my room with personalized notes.

And, the beds, yes, they are truly the best thing ever.

Room Tip: Try to stay away from the top 10 floors - unless bass and drums from AER are the way you get to slee...

Had been there extensively to a friend who was staying there. Must say the rooms are spacious, well lit and the bathrooms are huge! It was a normal room (not a suite) on the 11th floor, the view of the city is good. Also the Aer Lounge - roof top bar is awesome in the evening.
Friendly staff, prompt service and secure access - all what you expect and require in a big hotel!
Location is pretty much in the centre of the city, close from all important tourist and entertainment destinations, however without a car/taxi you cant just walk out, as outside the hotel it isnt great.

Room Tip: High Floor

Greetings from Mumbai!
Thank you for your positive comments especially regarding AER. The good news is that within this monsoon season we should be getting a canopy installed so you can enjoy the monsoon undercover at India's highest bar!
We look forward to seeing you back at the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai.

Spent a day here celebrating our wedding anniversary. Travelled with my wife and two daughters. An amazing experience that all of us enjoyed.

SERVICE:
Absolutely superlative. Right from the front door where a suited employee escorts you to the front desk after instructing the bell boys to pick the luggage up and the valet to park your car, to the reception staff who are courteous and well mannered, to the housekeeping / in room catering staff - all conspire together to make your stay perfect. :)
All help is a phone call away. The staff here will try to go the extra mile to help you. e.g. My daughters are 9 and 3 years old and hence wouldn't have been allowed into the AER roof top lounge they have. But I wanted to show them the view from the 34th floor overlooking the city and the sea. The staff accommodated a visit to the level in the off hours for a quick tour - just like that.

ROOM:
We stayed in a sea facing Deluxe room. Quite large enough. Had enough space for a king size bed, an extra bed, a business table, a walkin closet with mirrors, and a decently sized bathroom.
Completely carpeted and painted in light colours. Full size windows (fixed glass) overlook the Worli shanties and in the distance the sea. The bathroom has a bath tub that is next
to a full size window - if you care for a dip at night looking at a part of the city lights.
The mattresses are soft and the linen clean. A coffee maker with some cups. A dental kit and shaving kit is provided. Clean bath robes and cloth slippers provided. Other stuff provided (not placed together) - a hair dryer, cloth iron, shoe horn, coat brush, an electronic safe, some writing paper, envelopes etc. A decently stocked mini bar - chocolates, soft drink cans, some bottles of whiskey and rum.
The LCD / LED TV has a limited channel range - but something for everyone in the family.
There are phone sets provided in every possible corner - on the table, near the bed, in the bathroom and one in the toilet too.
The bathroom has a shower cabinet and a bath tub.
Since this hotel caters to a largely international traveller, the bathroom is designed in an European / American way - only tissue rolls.

LOCATION & AMENITIES:
Located at Worli. Near from all main points of the Bombay city.
The lobby area has some seating options within a soothing atmosphere. The floral arrangements all over the hotel are simple but elegant.
There are a couple of restaurants - Prato (the European one), San Qi (the Asian one) and the In room service (a combination of both).
A basic pool is available on the 3rd floor, along with a Spa center offering a whole lot of massages and beauty packages.
Breakfast is served at the Prato - a cold section with a large spread and a hot section made to order.

BEST LIKED AND LEAST LIKED:
Best liked - The attention to detail in everything. The eagerness of the staff to help.
Least liked - The unavailability of cross continental cuisines in the restaurants. So Prato didn't have Indian food and San Qi didn't have Steaks.

All in all, a very memorable stay and trip. Thumbs up from all of us.

Room Tip: Ask for a room above the 20 floor - Excellent view.

Just stayed for a night with my wife, we chose a sea facing room on 30th floor which had great views of the island city....its Lounge bar "AER" on top on 34th floor...was really....but they need to improve on the food menu.

Those who are sensitive to sound may find difficult to sleep at night, if you are on higher floor as the music on 34th AER lounge is loud.....overall it was a great experience.

Room Tip: Chose a sea facing room on 15th to 30th floor.
