A 7000Rs room for two (no normal room available, only deluxe, that day, and we had no possibility to change hotel).
Hot water (only) available (just imagine how you feel after a 12 hours travel by plane, and put your feet under burning water !!!). Color of water was brown-blue. But this was probably a problem that has been fixed now.
Good breakfast - nothing special to mention.
Good sleep - except that the double bed tend to separate during the night :) and make a gap in the middle.
Clean bedsheets and towels. Average to low cleanliness of the bathroom - not very comfortable.
Location not easy to find, even for indian people, but close to airport.
Wifi not available for free.
I will probably not come back again in this hotel, but for one day, it was ok.

Hi

Today (7 dec, 2013) I visited your property Hotel Solitaire at Andheri around 11:45 am for a business meeting with my associate (mr. sushant patil) who was occupying room no. 310 (he checked out today). My associate Mr. Rajiv Abrol from Chandigarh (staying at orchid, vileparle(east) was accompanying me and were waiting in the lobby and when Mr. Rajivji asked me for water I requested the room boy who was waiting near the lift. This roomboy informed the staff at counter who gave me an ugly look and told me to go upstairs on the first floor in the restaurant and get water myself or go to the room where I was supposed to go.

Feeling very disappointed I continued to wait in the lobby. My colleague, again, when the manager came to the lobby to the desk occupied by a lady staff (who was not in her seat) requested him for a glass of water and he also showed the tablets he was holding in his hands saying that he needs to take the medicine and so he needs water. Second time this manager simply neglected our request and was NOT bothered at all. Just then we got a call from our associate Mr. Patil and so we left the lobby with hurt and embarrassment.

Mr. Patil was very pleased with the room and talked high about the hotel but was shocked to know our ordeal and he did complain while checking out at around 5 pm.

We are hurt because we were denied water - a basic human need and humanity demands every human being to be humane enough to give water and that too to a person who needs to take medicine and by people in 3 star hotel in the hospitality industry. I believe people visit a hotel not because of its plush interiors high rise building but because of highest level of service and concern for the patron's comfort and satisfaction while staying in the hotel.

I am very concerned about the a good business been handled by bad people. Do you think there is any reason we should come and stay at your hotel or not tell people about the neglect? Please do let me know.

After Goa, we landed in Mumbai for a day to attend a function and just drive around the city. We wanted a hotel close to the airport and this hotel showed up. It is a no frills hotel with neat and comfortable rooms. Room service and Staff are good got all the stuff we ordered promptly. Since we had a baby they allowed us to stay for an extra couple of hours at no extra cost which is highly appreciated. One negative is that the hotel is not located in a neat neighborhood. Also the free breakfast is very average.

Location: very good for business travellers (near airport). Rooms: spacious, clean, very good lighting. But you are clearly paying (slightly over paying) for this only!! Sevices: poor staff attitude (especially the lady at reception), restaurant calls you up every half an hour for the complimentary breakfast...really irksome. Food is BAD and very pricey, even the breakfast.

The rooms facility is very basic, I can call it bad. Awefully noisy, I stayed the night, couldn't even want to go back to the room again, because it drives me mad. And the staff attitude is pathetic. Overly priced. This is the worst choice. Will never recommend anyone to stay.

Very small rooms that too overly priced. Food is good but again too costly as per standards... nearby to airports is the only plus point... If you are there for a work and meetings, the plan accordingly because all adjoining roads are either under construction or metro work is going on... so it attract heavy traffic in Andheri... If there for a long duration, Avoid...

Landed in Mumbai at 1 am from Kuala Lumpur. Had important meeting the very next day. So needed some decent accommodation overnight. I was trapped by hotel agent outside the airport, he claimed the hotel was three star. having no other option, I opted for this so called three star hotel. The hotel picked us up from the airport by a cab. Check in was smooth but the real problems no sooner than we checked into the room. The bedsheets had hair on them!!! We immediately asked them to change. After this was sorted out, we discovered that there was no hot water. Had to call reception at least thrice before they somehow fixed the problem. Room was small, was very dingy and was fitted with age old AC that made terrible noise all the night. Complementary buffet breakfast had incredible small spread and all the menu except the veg cutlet was tasteless. Besides good location, this hotel offers nothing and is badly in need of a makeover. Are the owners listening?
