“Very good food in a lovely setting”
Reviewed 30 October 2013

We were taken to this restaurant by family as a treat, as it was our first time in India, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I have never had such tender chicken in all my life as I had here. I would love to go back next time I visit.

“The desserts in the bakery were below par”
Reviewed 21 October 2013

Having heard a lot about the bakery at Gaylord's we wanted to try it out. We would have rather preferred giving the place a miss.

“Disappointed !!!”
Reviewed 21 October 2013

Well being a Mumbaikar, had heard a lot about this place for the food and bakery just outside a zillion times. Tried it for the first time on a Sunday evening with family friends and a 2 yr old kid. We entered about 7 pm, the place was empty with only a few tables taken. The head of staff (bald guy) shockingly asked us if we would be done by 9pm. as it's reserved beyond that. Controlling our anger we took our seats, we ordered food and were done by 9pm. Now the funny part is when the bill came the waiter told us that the service tax isn't added (suggesting we tip them heavy) and asked us to add it in the credit card receipt. Although we insisted we would pay cash we could see the disappointment on his face. Overall the food was good, ambiance was better, the staff's only friendly to the locals and Firang's in this place. Would prefer the pizza stop which is just a walk ahead.

“Famous continental restaurant near Churchgate”
Reviewed 19 October 2013

Famous continental restaurant near Churchgate. The ac restaurant is open during lunch hours and in the evenings for dinner. At other times the non ac section is open. The restaurant has a pastry shop also in front. Valet parking is available.

“Still rocking after all these years”
Reviewed 12 October 2013

One of the oldest restaurants in town. Was great and is still so. Décor is average but classy. Sit outside in winter or rain on wrought iron furniture. Great. Food Indian and continental. Both are excellent. Average meal for two will cost 800 Rs approx. But definitely worth it. Staff/service is efficient. The adjoining bakery shop is a must for fresh breads. Sit out during monsoon/winter with their famed Iced tea and good food.
