Have been visiting this place since college days and feel that time has just not moved. Love the idlis, rasam wada, mysore sada dosa. The filter coffee is nice and strong. The ulundu dosa, khotto idli, vermicilli upma is something that not all udipi cafes make.

NOticed last nite that they are renovating the place, a little make up for the old cafe.....great food and great coffee.

The quality of food here is going down with changing times.

Waiters are arrogant and don't want to spend more than 30 seconds raking your order.
I had some very find memories of this place but not anymore due to deteriorating food quality.

This is one of the oldest restaurants in Matunga and I visited this with my son in the hopes of a nice lunch but was very disappointed. The menu had only bisibele bhath which was actually pongal and they had added some vegetables to it. It was disgusting in taste but since we were hungry we had no other option but to have it. Tiffin items are good but better to avoid taking lunch here.

Hot crispy dosa filled with soft savouried cheese was unique and tasty. Drumstick sambhar and coconut chutney complimented it very well.

We love south indian food. We have tried few joints in Matunga and have stopped at Mysore as well as it was referred by our friends. We went there with family. We sat on the AC floor upstairs which is quite small and can get claustrophobic for some people. the seats were quite congested also. Nevertheless, i do expect these places to be quite simple for the price they offer so i don't fuss about it. Food was very nice and we tried different dishes that were listed on the specialties. All very nice. The best had to be the Mysore Masala dosa! too good! What i found to be excellent was the service - the waiter never forgot the order and when we added one more dosa of the same order he confirmed that we had ordered one of the same before and the key waiter also updated the one who was bringing the food to the table about the change. I was amazed by the follow up as you don't expect such places to be too attentive to you. Definitely will go there again :)
