For all that was going well, with praises, for a great place to stay, lovely ambience, great food, impeccable service and we went on.....till at the time of check out seemed like a 'take away all the happiness from this guest by the staff at the reception.

Nice Tent accommodation in Samode Bagh. Perfect Air Conditioner. Food was excellent. Samode Palace is three km away one can alter lunch or dinner at either of places. Better to take plan inclusive of all meals otherwise its very costly. Greatplace to relax. Generally all foreign travellers are there. Playing chess , Carrom Board and TT in open area in garden was unique experience. Overall Great Experience. Swimming Pool nicely maintained at particular Height also Garden very well maintained.

Room Tip: Tent No 42 and 43 are at good location

This is different to any hotel accommodation you may stay at anywhere else in India. It has a great deal of charm and the rooms are spacious and quite unique. The staff do all they can to be helpful but do remember you are not in mainstream India, this is a little backwater and the staff and locals do not have big city attitudes. It is all very quaint. However, the 'tent' element of the accommodation is in need of overhaul and several aspects of the grounds are looking tired.... but do not let this put you off. It is a wonderful little oasis and a place I would recommend anyone to visit.

Room Tip: All rooms are the same and none is preferable to any other

We stayed here as part of a Travelsphere tour. It was a great resort. The luxury tents were so comfortable. The single beds were large and very good sleep quality.

The terrace outside the rooms is great for a morning cuppa while watching the wildlife. The gardens are very well maintained. We were there in March so not very colourful but still very pretty.

Mr Singh is great and took us for a tour of the village.

The food is good quality with plenty of choice.

We had a campfire in the evening and some Indian folk dancing. It's an excellent hotel.

This is a 7 Star 'A' class property. This is a huge well maintained property with 5 star tents. The lawns and gardens are well kept. The staff is very cooperative and the service was excellent. This is a quit place in the wild where you can find your peace and take a stroll between the gardens or relax over the 'machan'. If you are looking for 7 start hotel in Samode, go for it!

Samode bagh is one quiet place just 40 kms away from Jaipur. Highly recommended only if u r staying for at max 2 nights with a large group. As a couple or a single traveler, the place does not have much to offer. Food is definitely above average but the cottages need refurbishment.

Spent 2 nights here. Tented rooms are ok but tired, I could here the woodworm gnawing! Shower either freezing or too hot and a resident lizard. Air con was incredibly noisy, couldn't sleep, like having a helicopter outside your room

The restaurant was ok but food was carried across the gardens from a kitchen elsewhere, service was slow and food mediocre. Saw the waiter wiping his sweaty brow on the cloth covering the clean crockery and food being moved by hands - no gloves or tongs.

The hotel is sold as luxury tented accommodation which has a romantic image but the reality is all a bit tired and run down, it is a shame. The service is not great, lots of staff standing around (hoping for tips) but not much action.
There is wifi at the reception but not very powerful.
I think the place could be a lot slicker if managed better.

We visited the Samode Palace for lunch, beautiful building worth a visit, better restaurant and service , with hindsight I would have preferred to stay there.

Room Tip: Maybe go to the palace
