“Good Home stay experience at Madhu Pushp Bhawan”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 January 2014

Our Home stay experience at Madhu Pushp Bhawan was very good.

It has nice ambiance, neat and clean rooms and royal over all look. The open area adds a greater value. But the living room shown on site and on travel sites is misled information, seems it’s Not to be used area for guests. No service is made available to clean the car it’s do it yourself, Intercom is only show piece.

However our long stay with family was quite pleasant. Good Place to be in.

Room Tip: All rooms are good, choose the corner premium ones they are bigger and better.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay here, and were especially delighted to meet Jaideep and his really friendly family. The high point was dinner with the whole family, where we were made to feel extremely welcome, as well as treated to a great meal. It was great to have a chance to find out more about life in Jaipur, as well as the special place of the Rajputs. Definitely somewhere to return to when we are next in India.

Thanks a ton Jaideep for the wonderful hospitality. Madhu Pushp Bhawan to my mind wins hands down from a value for money & leisure stay standpoint. Nestled in the quaint plush residential locality of Vaishali; yet not too far from the hustle bustle of the walled city (about 7 km from the walled city); Madhu Push Bhawan is truly a jewel. The rooms are beautifully done. The dining room is cozy & classy. But the highlight is the exquisite sitting room which also has a billiards room attached to it (the decor of the sitting room is artistic & regal; hats off to the taste of the family who have done the entire decor with lots of love & personal touch, which is evident in every nook & corner of the property)

The lawn and the swimming pool add to the comfort & luxury aspect

Highly recommended

Madhu Pushp Bhawan is the place, if you want to go beyond the museum experience and partake in the lifestyle of the richest kings in the world. Spotless and sparkling rooms – all arranged around a beautiful courtyard, richly adorned with intricate greenery and decorations –get you indulge in a genuine lifestyle of the legendary Maharajas of Rajasthan.

Traveling with a group of young friends, the beauty and glorious Madhu Pushp Bhavan appealed to us, as we were looking for a unique place to experience Jaipur’s glorious past. The place emanates exuberant vibes of Maharaja Lifestyle and Rajasthani culture. The place, offered us a luxurious amalgamation of culture, tradition, art and architecture, yet we were more overwhelmed by generosity and modesty of Jaideep Singh, the owner and manager, who welcomed us to his house. Sharing a fantastic night with this noble Rajput family, we were touched by the warmth, openness and friendly attitude of the mother, father, sister and his wife and were impressed by their sense of exuberance and decadence which was happily shared with us.

The warmth and glory of Madhu Pushp Bhawan shall remain the most memorable part of our 23-day trip to India and a strong reason for us to come back. Experiencing this magnificent royal Bhawan, we were touched by the proud chivalry and stupendous self-sacrifice of the Rajputs nobles in their struggle for independence and wealth; enriched in a unique experience which composites concoction of the past, the present and the future of India.

We stayed two nights here.

First "night" we arrived heavily delayed from Agra, which meant that we got in at 5am!! Jaipan was really helpful and ensured that the taxi collection was sorted despite my waking him up at 4.30am!!

Cars/tuk tuks were arranged by him with no problem.

Breakfast was nice and the building is lovely. It has a nice lawn in the front garden in which you can relax.

There is nothing really in the area so you'd need to drive everywhere, but that's no drama.

Recommended.

We had a fantastic experience staying for two nights at this homestay during a two week trip to India. Warm hospitality, good food and a clean, well maintained room (though the bed was a little firm).

It is a large, wealthy family's home with the comforts of a hotel room, but the addition of a charming Indian family hosting us and communal outdoor and dining spaces.

Our hosts the Singhs--three generations living under one roof--were very friendly and willing to talk about their family background, cultural traditions and modern India--the grandfather was a regional minister and his children had large, traditional weddings attended by the Maharajah of Jaipur.

The son and his wife (who runs a local school) are definitely well educated, modern Indians and were knowledgeable about local stores, sites and restaurants in Jaipur and made some great suggestions of local attractions.

They hold a cocktail hour before an Indian style dinner nightly;, breakfast also available.

I highly recommend this homestay experience to anyone from the West traveling to India--it gives you an authentic taste of modern India!
