“Poor Service and Receptionist with Horrible attitude”
Reviewed 29 December 2013

Me, my husband and my sister in law family stayed here for 2 night 3 days this December. The hotel has appearance of any other budgeted hotel. The rooms and washrooms are good enough for two people. First day when we reached in late evening, there was no hotel water. We had to ask the staffs to help us with the same and we got lukewarm water after 30 minutes.

We had dinner there and the food quality was fine but the portion size is less.

The next day was horrible, my husband ordered for 2 tea by 7.30AM and we made follow up calls 8-10 times and recieved tea by 8.45 and the staff member gave us half a cup tea, when we asked him for a full cup, he rudely replied saying, we serve only half a cup of tea here and there was no sugar in the tea, when we asked for sugar, he vanished and never returned.

There was absolutely no hot water and we went to the reception to complain and then came to know most of the rooms dint have hot water and the staff members were least bothered to do anything about it.

On the time of check out we discussed about this to the staff members and the receptionist was so il mannered that she said if you want go and take bath now and have rest of your tea but we need full money and she was almost yelling at us. Then we had to escalate it to the owner over the phone.

If the owner really wants this hotel to sustain in the market in midst of so many budgeted hotels in the same area, he have to really think about having such an ill mannered and horrible attitude lady as the receptionist and such a careless service team.

Except for the poor service, the room is fine for the price. But I guess as a traveler one checks in a hotel not just to sleep but to take bath and drink some coffee at the least.

Room Tip: We took the standard room which costs 1300 including taxe. tis is good enough space for 2 people

We stayed for 3 nights during December 2013. The hotel is clean, staff well mannered, food is OK, warm water is supplied through a common boiler system installed on the roof, free wi fi is available, a lift is also available ... Receptionist is cute ... :-)

I booked this hotel through yatra.com website and it was a combo (Air+hotel) offer. I selected this hotel after reading reviews here. Our budget for hotel was not so high and in the combo offer the hotel rent part was found reasonable for 2 nights stay. It was far away from Jaipur airport, though near the Jaipur railway station. "Semi superior" rooms were booked, but the rooms were small and so are the bathrooms. AC is fitted in the room, but the remote control sometimes does not work properly. There was no geyser fitted in the bathroom and hot water from the centralised system is available only in the morning. Elevator facility is there so it is good for elderly or physically challenged people. The hotel website says they have "..restaurant which offers not only traditional Rajasthani cuisine but different variety of mouth watering dishes by our experienced chefs. The restaurant has some beautiful arched windows ad wall designs..." But actually, there is NO restaurant and only room service facility is available! We ordered foods in the nights but the food quality was not so good. It is also written on their website that.."Pickup facility from Airport, Railway station and Central Bus stand"..But it is not mentioned that they DO charge for this facility! Nobody should do this kind of marketing with false or partial information!! They have contact with cab driver who can pick up from airport/railway station. Local sightseeing can also be arranged by the hotel though cheaper and good option is to hire auto rickshaw for sightseeing. Overall it is just a OK hotel, though the charged room rent seemed reasonable.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in mid-August. We booked a cheap room using makemytrip.com. The room was big enough and air conditioned. However, the drain in the bathroom smelled strongly of sewage, so we kept the door closed and the ceiling fan on all the time. We tried to go to the hotel's restaurant pictured online, but found out that none existed. That said, there is a table and chairs on a nice balcony on the top floor where you can take your meals, and there's also room service at almost all hours of the day. The food is good, but it can get annoying hearing the bells ringing in other rooms on your floor early in the morning or late at night.

When we arrived at the hotel the staff was slightly offish but they warmed up to us over the course of several days. Since our overnight bus arrived early in the morning, we checked into the hotel at 6:30am...and were told later that day that on the day we were leaving we had to vacate the room by 6:30am! What?! No matter, we had an early bus for that day, but if we hadn't that would have been agonizing.

Most of the staff speaks only rudimentary English, but are eager to help. Also, the hotel is two kilometers out of the main downtown area. This is good and bad. Good because you can walk around the neighborhood and feel safe and say hello to all the children and families. Bad because you either have to walk in and out of town (30 minutes each way) or haggle with relentless rickshaw drivers who want to charge you 150 rupees to go 2km. Boo!

Overall, we had a decent experience with this hotel and would recommend it if you're okay with the downsides mentioned above.

I have been to jaipur just a month ago along three of my friends. Reaching jaipur we all (me and anuj) are in mood to do some RND on hotel prizes 3 stars to cheapest one. and ultimately we finally opt this one as:
@ Very Salubrious
@ Good room Service
@ No hidden Cost
@ Very Reasonable rate

Staff was really friendly and supportive. And apart from that a smile from reception wow made my day !!!! :P

It was a good option to choose amongst other available hotels. Room was quite spacious, clean and food was really good. Hot cup of Ginger tea is something i liked a lot. Its centrally located. Nearby areas include Bus Stand, Railway Station, Hawa Mahal, Bapu Market, Johari Market. Choki Dhani was just 30 kms away but its worth seeing. Apart from this, roomservice was quite good. But as mentioned on their visiting card, we didn't got any royal welcome at the time of arrival.

Overall, it was a good choice for a night or two to stay at Heritage inn!
