“Quite place in a busy city”
Reviewed 5 January 2014

I wasn't sure when I had booked this place but it came out to be a very pleasant surprise when I reached there. Its maintained by a family and they are very friendly - its a quite place right inside middle of the family. There is a main lawn right next to the main entry; this was an added advantage.

I would highly recommend this place and is also definitely the place I will stay in my future Jaipur visits.

This quaint family owned and run little hotel has a nice atmosphere. The owners and staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. Definitely the best masala chai and food in town. Be sure to try the butter chicken. Home cooking does not get any better than this. Free Wifi available. For us this hotel gets two tumbs up!

Room Tip: Location was not a issue, because we had a private car. This facility does not have a swimming pool...

The family and staff (who live in the guest house as well) from Nokha House makes the experience complete! They are so friendly, take care of everything you need, the kitchen is excellent and the rooms comfortable. I have just returned back home but still wear the 'welcome' bracelet as a remembrance to India and Nokha House.

If you should ever go to Jaipur, this is absolute a recommendation!

It's a quiet place away from the city center, but you can still catch a tuktuk to the train station 5 o'clock in the early morning.
This homestay running by a very nice family, they gave me a lovely welcoming even i arrived alone, The staff are polite and helpful. When i asked for one day expansion and they said okay without any trouble. and when i asked for laundry one day before i left, the weather is not so cooperating, so they returned my clothes for they won't get dry before i leave. Really considerate and sweet.
The free breakfast was really good, delicious and quite enough to feed you. The room is clean, well-decorated and spacious. Although the days i was there were rainy and relatively cool, i'm sure the room with ac can be comfortable when the weather is hotter. And the price is acceptable with all the services.

Nokha House, conveniently located close to Jaipur railway station and bus stand and 30 mins drive from Airport, is a place to stay far away from artificial luxury of hotels, stereotyped hotel food and city's hustle bustle.

Mr. Shivram Singh and his wife runs this place and made us feel at home. Great traditional and authentic food was served the taste of which still hovers on our palate.

Do stay here at Nokha House if u wish to explore and experience great and unmatched Indian hospitality.

Room Tip: Well appointed rooms

Location:
A lovely family home, just outside of the hustle and bustle of Jaipur. For our stay it seemed a great location to visit the sites in the day, and escape the chaos at night. There is the sound of the traffic outside but in India this is generally hard to escape - it is not enought to keep you awake though. The first night we walked about 1.5kms to a place in the new city called Kanji which was an awesome local restaurant - great food with a great price, and the sweets are magical.

Rooms:
We stayed in a double room which was a great size and the bathroom is also lovely with warm shower - although make sure it is a quick shower so that you don't run out of hot water.

Food and service:
The family is very attentive and a traditional rajasthani meal was made specifically for us - and we were luckily the only guests so we were treated like royalty. The place is probably great for groups! It has wi-fi. It is highly recommended...
