The hotel is an absolute delight. Our group of 16 people all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Whilst waiting for breakfast I popped into the kitchen to see what was going on and was met by the absolutely delightful owners daughter who was amused at seeing me there. She spoke excellent English and is an absolute credit to the hotel. The staff were all charming and helpful.
I find these people who carp on about no Tvs and no internet highly irritating, they are obviously very important people and I am sure as they go around they find plenty to complain about. They obviously need to get out more often and get a proper balanced outlook on life. They probably don't even know that India is a 3rd world country

Room Tip: Any people with mobility problems make sure you have lower floors

We had booked this place for three nights but unfortunately we left after one. There are two major positives with this Haveli, firstly it is one of the most picturesque hotels we have ever stayed in. Secondly, it is very well situated for a good many of Jaipur's attractions. Now for the negatives - firstly the beds in our room were extremely uncomfortable, they were very narrow and felt like sleeping on a plank of wood. Secondly, the chargeable wifi (45INR/half hour!) did not work either. This was a massive problem for us as we needed it for various reasons. They appear to only have a 1GB limit for the whole hotel, which as you can imagine was used extremely quickly. The problem first appeared in the morning of our second day here and we were promised that it would be sorted by the evening. When it did not work in the evening and we said that we would have to leave, only then did they seem to really care about the problem and try to do something about it. Thirdly, there is a tv in the room, but it is a fat load of use if there are no channels to watch! Given the beautiful setting and style of this place it could be legendary, but sadly it is not good enough, which is a huge shame.

A conveniently located 'haveli' style small hotel. It is within walking distance of the old markets. There are lots of charming features in the rooms, and though they are basic, they are clean and comfortable. The staff are also very pleasant.

Stayed here as a solo traveler and was absolutely thrilled with this property. The room was very clean and very comfortable with good beds and wonderful a/c. The bathroom was clean with a nice powerful hot shower and separate tub. The staff is very friendly and always helpful and provide you with a hand drawn map of the area which is very helpful. It is within walking distance (about 10 minutes) to the City Palace, Hawal Mahal and other attractions. They provided a tuk-tuk driver for going to Amer and Jagharth Fort at reasonable price for the half day. The breakfast though not included was basic but good and reasonable, an all you can eat buffet with coffee or tea. They do not provide any other full meals but they do have room service for snacks such as cheese sandwich, cereal, toast, beverage, etc. at reasonable prices. Even though it is close to main attractions it is a bit tricky to find as the property is a little bit down a small street (past the pigs..lol; off the main road but really isn't a problem. I would recommend a stay at this Inn for anyone who wants a quiet place to go back to as Jaipur is a very hectic and loud city and its still within the walls of of the old city. A lovely place!

We stayed at this wonderful hotel in February - my daughter, myself and two friends! It is difficult to find, but once there we hired a driver for the four days we were there, and he took us anywhere we wanted to go (well worth it!) You have to be able to climb stairs, as there were many terraces, the rooms were absolutely fine , and clean, and the terraces were wonderful to chill out on after being in the crazy city for any amount of time - but there are plenty of sights to see. The young man on the desk 'Sunny' was very courteous and helpful, as was all the staff there, breakfast was served on the top terrace, and it was more than adequate to face the day. The building was faded charm of a mughalesque mansion, with ornate white coving and pillars and coloured glass windows, through narrow passages up higgledy piggledy stairs and courtyards! and the very top of the building gave you the best view of Jaipur, the hills, fortress and kite flying!! with monkey's climbing all over the buildings below. If you don't mind faded opulence and are looking for something quirky then this is the place to be.
