This wonderful hotel oozes old world charm, character and has wonderfully generous staff that uphold the traditions of Taj hospitality. Our room was elegant, beautifully appointed and had all the requisite trappings of a modern hotel while retaining the style and decor of the erstwhile Prime Minister's palace. The food at the 'Marble Arch' restaurant was simply delicious and the staff were wonderfully warm, generous, friendly and truly made us feel sad to leave. In fact, one of the wait-staff Moolchand noticed that I had not eaten well and left me a few bottles of a probiotic drink in our room. Now that is hospitality!! The day we left, all the restaurant staff and the chef posed for photos with us and saw us off. The folk dances, puppet shows and other folk shows showcase the Rajasthani flavour at its best. Special mention must be made of the Concierge, Moonisha as well as Imlisenla, Moolchand, Madan and Narendra of the Marble Arch who made our stay unforgettable. Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff that made us feel like family.

Jai mahal is located in the heart of main jaipur located just 2 km from the railway station. the property with 99 rooms has lush lawns and very large and airy rooms. The staff is always courteous and helpful and they treat you like royals. Facilities are excellent. They also have the Jiva spa, pool and gym catering to the lazy as well as fitness traveller. Ours was a very large group of almost 55 paxs and we had the most memorable 3 days stay there.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good but you could opt for the pool facing suites. The room sizes are the same, ho...

This hotel probably showed us the best service ever. Right from the Manager of the Coffee Shop, to the Housekeeping Staff, to the Gym Instructor, this hotel has people who quietly, inobtrusively, make sure that you are taken care of, and comfortable. Don't expect much of a view, except from the balcony on the first floor. The "older" rooms are larger. The suites are completely mind-blowing. We stayed at a room first which had a window between the bedroom and the bathroom, that was somehow very cute! Then we were moved to the Jaipur Suite. We fell in love with it, it was huge and even had a swing! We told one random waiter that I did not like Himalayan, the water served by default at Taj hotels, and after that, in the rooms, in the restaurants, we were always served Aquafina. Even when we returned to the hotel for a re-stay after 3 days. Really beautiful hotel and service.

Room Tip: Try the suites if you can afford them. Choose the "older" rooms in case you are travelling...

This is the finest hotel we have experienced anywhere in the world, the only one I would give 10/10. Beautiful facilities, rooms, grounds and superbly trained and committed staff. This is must stay place just for the experience of what a world class hotel can deliver.
Cant think of anything that can be improved.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms are great, we had a standard toom and it was excellent.

My second stay at this beautiful hotel. My first to Jai Mahal Palace was in 1996 and loved it so much that I have sent many of my friends here. I revisited in 2010 and it was as if nothing changed. From the wonderful fresh fruits at breakfast to the music playing in the central court. The Palace is a place for receptions and watching the receptions is a treat in itself. The pool is great as is the food poolside restaurant. It is easy to experience the city from this hotel and yet come back to a unique experience with wonderful staff who are there to please. Highly recommend a stay at this gem of a hotel.

Don't know what we liked more , the staff or the location. Every moment, every day was a real royal treat , where people at marble arch and cinnamon kept offering their best services and staff at front office , recreational centre , pool , and Yudhishter's history walk was a wonderfully experience.
