“Strongly recommend their "budget" restaurant”
Reviewed 16 July 2014

We did not stay in this Inn during our recent visit, but the general ambience of the place is very pleasing to the eye.

We had a quick lunch at their restaurant and found the food delicious, reasonable in price, cooked fresh and served by the smiling staff. I liked the general atmosphere, books and some table games laid out to engage and entertain young people. The place was full of foreign students, probably backpackers, chatting or working on their laptops in a relaxed way.

The courteous and friendly owner, Mr. Bhargava, seemed in and out of the place all the time so I assume he oversees most of the doings, including in the restaurant even though it is subcontracted.

We did not find the restaurant wanting in any way, and in fact I went away wondering why this centrally located hotel was called a 'budget hotel' or a 2 star hotel as it looked quite uniquely attractive! Of course, I have no clue what the rooms are like and there was no time to check that part out.

May try out the rooms too on my next visit. Another meal, most certainly.

Jaipur Inn is a cozy little place for family & friends. Reasonably priced and centrally located. The staff is extremely cordial and helpful. The décor of the place is amazing and I just loved their food. A must stay place when in jaipur. You will truly love the ambiance of the room as well as dining area. The view from the roof was lovely and we even saw peacocks on the roof.. :) There were hardly any Indians staying there, we were probably the only ones. The owner of the place was really friendly and met each and every guest personally on arrival and even during dinner time. Loved the personalized service and cute ambiance of the place. If the morning sunrise trek is happening, then do go for it.

Dirty and unorganized reception. No room Service. The place does not even have the courtesy to provide drinking water in the room on the pretext that they do not believe in Room Service.

Though the room was clean, but the over all experience was far below satisfactory.
You have to stand in a Queue to order food and that too pre-paid as if you are in a hostel or a mess. Extremely unclean dining area, no air conditioning. You may not even realize that the salty taste of the food is actually due to your own sweat dripping into the food.

Cleartrip should have clearly mentioned that the place does not provide room service.

Website clearly states Room Service as part of Amenities.
I feel cheated by Cleartrip and so called hotel as well.
Looks like a place to cheat foreign travelers by telling tham something about homely environment. CRAP.

Poor ambience, poor food, no service, no water. Thats to summarize.

Mohit

Room Tip: Strictly avoid the place

I have spent two weekends in Jaipur, both in the Jaipur Inn. The rooms are very cute and cousy, the staff is friendly, prices are slightly high but at least there are no hidden costs. There are fun trips organized and there is a nice cafeteria. For sure I'll stay here if I go to Jaipur again.

room was great, comfortable, backpacker standard, however the bathroom was scary to be in. other than that, staff very friendly and helpful. food was good. free internet downstairs, and on the roof top was a bonus.

Room Tip: ask for rooms on the first floor, there's a fantastic terrace there

This is one of my favorite hotels I’ve been to so far this year. Physically, the palace is magnificent and the grounds are sprawling and beautiful, though I would characterize the rooms as simply nice. The staff is very well-trained, courteous. And we'll mannered..
