Close to the Amer fort, the location is ideal as it is close to the city center as well as other sight seeing attractions. The rooms are nice with good ambience. There is good parking space available for your vehicle. Overall a good experience.

i had a family visit a grp of 13 ppl + 2 kids, we had ppl of all ages.

We wanted 6 rooms & had booked them well in advance @ a very good rate. We had asked for around 5 rooms with bath tubs, but were allotted only 2 a negative.

the checkin was smooth. Only issue was in 5 bed rooms the beds were not joint we requested the staff to do it, they did it immediately.

Foodwise the hotel was pretty decent, breakfast had a nice spread but the meals had limitations, but not bad.Location was a gr8 plus plus, the pool was a big interest for the kids, they just loved it.

Staff was nice, checkout equally smooth.

All in all a good place 4 ppl of all ages.

Its a nice property, clean, well maintained. But its one of the worst service iv seen in a hotel of this standard. Had to call up room service many times before they would serve anything. And the food is very average. And it does not help that the breakfast buffet area is smaller than some of the rooms.
There are better options in Jaipur.

I stayed at Holiday in during my weekend road trip to Jaipur. I travelled with my wife & daughter. We booked the hotel then & there, as we didnt have much of an option at Amer Road, Jaipur. Most of the hotels were fully booked, so we decided to stay with Holiday Inn. To my surprise no standard rooms were available & had to opt for the only room available (Suite Room). However, one advise, book the room/rooms in advance would be less expensive (specially during peak season & extended weekends).

I had already decided to stay at AmerRoad, as it is near to Jaigarh, Nahargarh, Amer, Hawah Mahal, City Palace & Obviously Jal Mahal. For that matter, its the best location to stay, however Chokhi Dhani is located quite far.

The suite room was amazing, i liked the interior & the lighting, which made it an amazing experience. The rooms were clean with cozy bed, wardrobe (with a locker), mini bar (no alcohol), electric kettle, a TV in bed room & an LCD in the drawing room. As stated earlier by a traveller, there are limited TV channels available & no channels for children/Kids (the only negative i found at the hotel)

The swiming pool is located at the back of the hotel & is 5 feet & 11 inches deep at the centre (not for childern/Kids), The cafe bar at the hotel was good with unlimited drinks offer on Indian Spirit (RC) & buy 2 beers (Pint) get one free beer (Pint) till 7pm.

The buffet breakfast offered was good & had good variety with Bread, Egg, sausages & Indian food.

Overall, a pleasant stay at the hotel with good service & hospitality.

The lobby:
The lobby is small and minimalistic in design. Considering it's size, that's a sound decision. It's a place to check-in...and is functional by that standard.
The rooms:
The hotel has gone through a refurb so I would discount any previous reviews from 18 months ago. The rooms are modern and designed well. Compared to some Holiday Inns I have stayed in the UK and the US, the rooms are in fact excellent. Comfy beds (although the pillows weren't that comfortable - but this is personal preference) and a small but decent workstation. 32 inch LCD Sony Bravia TVs are fixed to the walls and are of excellent quality. The rooms are of a good size with hanging storage and personal safe. The bathrooms are clean and functional. If you want a tub - you will need to ask for it...otherwise you'll get walk in showers which I actually prefer. One note: if you have children, there are no children channels on the TV. Can be a little frustrating in the evenings, that....
Hotel facilities:
Breakfast - not a Western spread. You won't get bacon or pork (a State issue). You can get eggs to your liking. Expect bread, pastry and rolls, a very small selection of fruit, juice (not freshly squeezed), two cereal choices, Indian breakfast, and options that change each day (like pancakes). Not great...not bad...depends on how much you like your breakfast. To be honest, if staying here, it's not as if you have an alternative outside.
Restaurant: We were staying in off-season so only eat at the cafe. Food was good. Western and Indian options. Pricey but that's a hotel for you.
Pool: Okay sized pool but not great for kids as it is deep. 5 feet 6 inches at its shallowest. A pointer is that poorer Indian men from the North generally are letches (an accepted fact)...and the buildings next to the hotel can see into the pool...so if you are female, that is something to consider.
Gym: Functional. Rowing machine, cross trainer and treadmill.

Issue: We had one negative experience. After a 4 hour train journey we wanted to check in and relax. The hotel assigned us a room but no travel cot for our 5 year old. They said that they did not have any. Not company policy. Anyone who has travelled with a child will know how ridiculous that is. When we asked for a bed, they said we needed to pay extra - also crazy for a child. Otherwise, he would have to sleep with us in the bed. I am a Holiday Club member and was not pleased - my wife even more so. We went to our room quite angry about this. HOWEVER, about 20 minutes later, reception rang to say that they would be sending us an extra bed at no charge. Well done!! They resolved the problem. Technically we shouldn't have had it at the first time, but still...it was resolved. Pretty good that.
Overall:
Good hotel in a tourist area. This is old Jaipur and rather chaotic so it's a good place to get away from that. It's not the best hotel in Jaipur but tries its best to offer a good experience. Hotels are always reviewed on personal preference. If you want luxury, don't come here. If you like modern clean rooms - air con, western comfort - its a good choice.

I stayed there with my family for 2 nights and 3 days. The booking was hassle free. Though I was apprehensive about the service, all my doubts vanished the moment I stepped in to the hotel! The manager was personally looking after check ins and all the staff were very courteous and comforting. The room gets a 5/5 for both the maintenance and hospitality. The facilities provided were beyond expectation! Their complimentary buffet breakfast deserves a mention for its taste.

While I feel the pricing of dinner buffet high and lack of free WiFi is a downer, overall experience is wonderful and my holiday was perfect!!!

Room Tip: Enquire if your room has a tub bath. Not all of them have it!

The location is convinient and away from hastle of city. Rooms are very well maintained. The house keeping is better then the last visit. The breakfast spread is great and quality of food is very good. I have few pics of room one can make out. The Pool is small and still has not enough screening to prevent peeping tom in vicinity. The staff of hotel really nice specially front desk .I highly thankfull to mr Manish in front department for the solutions of my problem. He is really nice champ god blesss..... bbye.
