This hotel is a classic example of 'not realizing one's true potential'! The rooms are in the form of beautiful rustic huts (which is great) but the service is truly pathetic to say the least! There were frequent power-cuts and the AC (in 45 degree Celsius or 115 degree F (for my US friends) was not working. The location of this hotel is also bad! It is far from the city and you are left at the mercy of the Hotel for food, supplies, etc. which are limited at best...

To top it, the breakfast served is Terrible!

I would have considered giving it a slightly better rating had their staff been more customer friendly and had their breakfast been good...

Room Tip: Do check the Air Conditioning before checking in. It gets really hot in the afternoon in the months...

needs no introduction , perfect place for a short trip cultural visit to the state.btful welcome, tidy ambience , ethnic feel , prompt service .we visite don our anniversary and wanted to extend our stay since we wanted to relax, they offered us to shift to another room since they were prebooked for a wedding.we wanted the same room but instead they offered us their best suite (superdeluxe)for the same price plus few taxes.n our happiness knew no bounds.with a lovely jacuzzi and a big room our every penny was well spent.in the evenings the resort has a village attached and we were given free entry though its paid..traditional food, music, dance, pottery, elephants camels,dresses,jewellery..you name it and you get it.

Room Tip: every room has a different feel.feel free.every room is peaceful.

we had been chowki dhani for the evening to experienced some rajasthani traditions (village ,food etc).but it did not meet our expectation. Firstly i found parking area was not good at all but parking staff was helpful. Inside the village atmosphere was so dull and dark. on the name of ride there was only one elephant, and one has to wait for long queue. Same for dinner you have to wait for atleast 30-40 minutes.

Dinning area was so much suffocated, not cleaned also.

I would rather suggest to stay in old city where lots of options , good restaurants with gardens, fountains and traditional architecture, also good food with warm and caring service

we went to chokhi dhani in october 13 . it was a very different experience. it is a small village with all the colours of rajasthan . too good place for kids . all full of activities. the food served is the traditional rajasthani food .the aroma is good but the food is not so tempting. the mela like deco in evening is the best thing about this place. a hap place to go. we only went for evening and dinner.
a nice try in jaipur.

I have been visiting Chokhi Dhani since its inception in 90's and I recently visited it with few of my European friends, For them it was an experience with no match but I was sad to see how the nature of a true village experience has changed into commercial activity.
The food was good as always and so was the hospitality but I guess even that is loosing its touch. There is no doubt that there is no parallel to Chokhi Dhani when it comes to near traditional experience. The push sales in the shopping arcade and constant follow-up by the shopkeepers is annoying.
Overall I will still recommend it to people who have no traditional Rajasthani experience but I guess its not for me any more.

It was a loverly experience to stay at Choki Dhani. The rooms are small huts in traditional Rajasthani style and are very comfortable. The tradtional Rajasthani food is fingerlicking good, but the best part is their service. They serve the food with so much love and affection that it seems you are eating at your mother's kitchen.

We are very thankful to Chokhi Dhani members for the special arrangement for us. Really just because of you people (adding Nupur (Manager), Bhupender and other management staff), me and my wife, were able to make an awesome weekend and spend memorable time.

As usual, CHOKHI DHANI's special in their hospitality and cooperative staff. The best part within 6 months, this was our Second visit and we didn't find any change in anything and enjoyed every moment either Drink - Dine or Village.

It was excellent experience and great thanks once again to all of you.
Surely in another 6 month we are coming back. And looking forward to all of you people kind support.
Have a great day :)….
