We were there only a night but it is a lovely looking place. On the main road but quiet and so beautiful done up! There are so many flowers beautifully blooming in the courtyard and the room is small but tastefully done up.
The only problem I faced there was that even though there is a bath tub we are not allowed to use it and when I had a shower, it was clogged. But this was a minor issue.
The breakfast was simple but good.
I wish we had stayed a little longer in jaipur and in Jas Vilas.
Definitely recommend and definitely will go again!

We stayed here for two nights on our trip through Rajasthan. We arrived late at night, and were met by Mr. Singh, a friendly character who immediately made us feel at home. He took us straight to the room, and was happy to complete the check-in formalities at our own convenience, definitely a bonus after 5 hours on the road!

The room we were in was spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds and an enormous bathroom. The hotel is built around a central courtyard with a swimming pool, and does a brilliant job of muffling the noise from the city. It really is an oasis of calm, set back slightly from the main road, with lovely gardens.

The staff were wonderful, whipping up a tasty dinner for us despite our late arrival. They were also more than happy to pack us breakfast for our early (6am) departure. All in all a great place to stay, and very good value for money too.

The wonderful ambience at Jas Vilas is created by the care and attention of the hosts, Mahendra and Rajyashree (Lily) Singh. The gardens, flowers, fabulous wall paintings and well maintained, beautifully decorated rooms with all amenities, make for a very comfortable and refreshing retreat. The staff are friendly and attentive, and help is instantly there for travel arrangements, and tours. Definitely a rare gem in the hotel world!

Jas Vilas truly deserves the praise bestowed on it from fellow travelers who have posted reviews earlier. Though catering to a primarily expat crowd, the hotel equally meets the needs of the Indian traveller. Spacious rooms, perfectly maintained, exquisite furniture and wall decorations, excellent service, serene atmosphere, 2 gardens, central pool, excellent food, lovely hosts..!

Our baby had a ball playing in the garden which was bang opposite our room.

We would love to stay there again next time we visit Jaipur. Highly recommended..!

Room Tip: We were recommended a garden facing room since we were accompanied by our 3 year old. The best advic...

Its difficult to review this hotel without gushing or using the word 'oasis' but here goes...

Its a wonderful hotel with a unique atmosphere and offers a great combination of professional service carried out with a friendly attitude.

Its on a relatively large plot of land so has two large gardens as well as the swimming pool and this gives a airy , spacious feel to the hotel.

The food is great and good value - western style snacks are available all day and in the evening there is a further option of a delicious 3-course indian meal (c. £6 )

The rooms are enormous and spotless and fast wifi is free - the pool is clean and delightful and a real bonus after a hot day in India

We went this September and the other guests clearly loved the hotel which gave rise to a nice ambience.

A great hotel at a great price and we would very, very strongly recommend it.

After a hot day in busy Jaipur its like arriving back at an oasis (oops !)

Myself and my partner stayed here this Sept as part of our trip round Rajasthan and we were not disappointed. This is a beautiful hotel with lovely spacious clean rooms, with hot water, that face on to the cosy garden and swimming pool. The staff were very attentive and would do anything to make your stay enjoyable. The food was great and the location just a short Tuk Tuk away from the major sites. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Jaipur. Thank you Jas Vilas!

This hotel is a wonderful oasis hidden behind high walls you feel safely tucked away and relaxed. All rooms face overlooking the swimming pool where you can sit outside your room at the end of the day. Rooms are spotlessly clean and hot Water a plenty. Breakfast is great. Try the chocolate milkshakes as they are the best I've had in India. Any negatives? Location wise it's not walkable to any tourist attractions but a rickshaw to the oldtown is only 100 rupees. They do have one grumpy staff member (he is not Indian but maybe Nepalese or Thai perhaps?) He accused my husband of giving him the wrong room number when we ordered some water to the room. No big deal but his attitude was disappointing and not one you'd receive from a gracious Indian host. Apart from that it was perfect and I definitely stay here again without hesitation.9.5/10!!!
