“A delightful small hotel!”
Reviewed 21 May 2014

This little hotel was our delightful base for three nights at the beginning of May when the high summer temperatures made the little swimming pool especially attractive. Patio tables and chairs were ideally situated for pool-side breakfasts and suppers. Breakfasts were varied and delicious and could include delicious new season's fresh mangos - a great treat for those of us from cooler lands! Our lovely large bedroom on the first floor was decorated with the typical delicacy of painted and mirrored designs of the region. Helpful and quietly efficient staff kept the verandahs cool with rush blinds lowered in the mornings against the fierce sun, these would be raised again in the evenings, thus allowing the full impression of the cascading flowering plants down the attractive building.

Room Tip: Our room on the first floor verandah, overlooking the swimming pool was quiet and restful.

I had a lovely stay here when I stayed in Jaipur for three nights. The staff were always very helpful and happy to answer any questions. The hotel had a partnership with some drivers so taxis could be booked very quickly and easily and very a reasonable price. The hotel is a beautiful oasis of calm from the busy streets of Jaipur but is only a short auto rickshaw journey from the Pink City. Breakfast was simple but very nice and served next to the pictoresque swimming pool. I would definentely recommend this hotel, I couldn't fault it.

Our family (2 adults and 4 children) and another family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children), arrived here for a 6 night stay and were greeted with warmth amd welcome hearts (which, you can understand, if you have a big family, is not always the case). We had three rooms for the 10 of us. The rooms are decorated with such care and character, I felt like I was in a story book.

Everything at Jas Vilas is maintained to the highest degree. From the gardens (biggest Dahlias I have ever seen), to the murals (so colourful) to the bed linen (simply beautiful) and local art work and furniture.... Simply wonderful.
This is a small, family run hotel and the warmth and care that we all received was incomparable to any other place we stayed in India. The lovely owners arranged magical puppet shows and had a fmaily friendly Holi celebration which was unforgettable in a very safe and wonderous environment.
We felt so cared for whilst also were given privacy the entire time. A perfect blend, really.
Now let's talk food....
We have some dietary limitations amongst us and at Jas Vilas, it was absolutely no problem. We ate vegetarian and dairy free the entire time (other than divine omelettes at breakfast). AND, we enjoyed every meal every day at Jas Vilas. The most amazing thing to share here is that each and every meal was absolutely tasty and so full of flavour - just let them know the spice level you desire and they accomodate. I hope to come back and take cooking lessons from these wonderful chefs in the future, they were that incredible. No other meal during our 14 day stay in India compared. My own children were getting seconds and third servings (of vegetables!!!) every meal!!!
Also, we were never sick from any food we ate here (and we ate a varied menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner here for 6 days and nights) - which is very important to mention, as some would say this is a rarity for India.
Jas Vilas water is filtered and their cleanliness and freshness food preparation standards are so high, that it was very appreciated to eat well and be well the entire time.
The pool is very refreshing and clean and was wonderful after soaking up the sun on a hot day.
We are looking forward to returning to Jas Vilas in the future and feel so fortunate to have had a chance to stay at such a welcoming, warm, beautiful and delicious hotel!

I was in Jaipur for business. I needed a quiet place to rest, and refresh after a tiring week in New Delhi. Jas Vilas is a joy. Lovely to look at. Safe, clean and quiet. The family who own the hotel are incredibly nice, and looked after me as I was traveling alone. The rooms are spacious and the bed comfortable. The shower excellent. The home cooked meals are delicious - and their kitchen is spotless. Free wifi helped make my trip so easy. Beautiful gardens and swimming pool to sit by
and have a morning cup of tea.I will only stay there when I go back to Jaipur next year.

Room Tip: The food is excellent.

Spend only one day in Jaipur, arrival by plane and perfect pickup. Hotel is a hidden gem, wonderful room (took a heritage room) on pool side. Pool wonderful, clean perfect temperature. Very good driver partners, enjoyed very much 2 times 4-5 hours trips with Jameer.
In the bazar I enjoyed local food, the revenge came on the evening, had an food intoxication, the staff was very nice and caring, did not charge the not eated dinner.
Would come back again. Location 10 minutes from red city.

We stayed two nights at this small, family-run hotel/b&b. The garden and pool added to the comfort of the location, and the dining room and bedrooms all made the stay as if we were in someone's home (which we were, of course). During our stay, the owner spoke with us about the history of the house in his family and revealed to us that our room was once occupied by the Queen of Kasmir, who knew his family and visited often. Ask for the ground floor room next to the drive to be able to say you stayed in a room fit for a queen!
An extremely hospitable location.

A gorgeous hotel with a beautiful pool and garden setting. Upon arrival we received a warm welcoming that remained throughout the entire stay. The service was 5 star. Highly recommend this oasis to all visitors to Jaipur.
