“Small room (for a family of 4) but very nice hotel and pool”
Reviewed 20 October 2012

We were 2 adults and 2 (almost grown) children so the room was small for us, but the hotel is very well put together. It has a heritage look, a good roof-top restaurant and a nice swimming pool to wind down after walking around the palaces and museums (not to mention the bangle shopping!). When we visited, Oct 13-14, the hotel was more full of Caucasians, making us a minority at dinner time. The food is good, which is a good thing because the hotel is not located in a populous area of Jaipur. The drive to either City Palace or Amer Fort was not too long, so it isn't that the hotel is outside Jaipur.

We had a good time and would definitely love to come back to this hotel if we were to visit Jaipur again.

Room Tip: For families/groups larger than 2 there are suite rooms. If you have time left over at the end of th...

This is the most remarkable hotel in my trip to India! We arrive late arround 11pm.They arranged a free pick up service.the driver is very kind and funny. Then the hotel gave us another surprise.they upgraded our room!Fantastic,I mean the decoration of the hotel and the room.sure also very very clean.and breakfast is awsome.the manager/luggage boy/driver everyone is very kind and thoughtful.so not only the hotel itself but also the service here is worth a 5-star standard!much better than some hotel noted on LP which will cost you more than 4000rs!

This hotel I loved. It was amazing
It looked like it belonged to the Raj
There are nooks and crannies to discover all over this hotel. The one thing about this hotel I did not like was the bed. It was like lying on concrete.

Beautiful antique place with nice rooftop restaurant serving good food and acceptable breakfast. Pool is nice as well. Rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Internet is not free and staff is only ok, not too friendly and helpful and ripping you off regardig transport (but what else is new in India..).

Very nice hotel, clean and tidy. Beautiful hotel with good service and a nice atmosphere. The breakfast is great, and there is very nice roof terrace for the evening dinner. There is a swimming pool, which I didn't use, as I didn't have time.

We had a fantastic time at this hostel. Our train to Jaipur was delayed by several hours and even though we arrived in the middle of the night a free pick up was still arranged for us from the train station. The staff were helpful and the hostel was beautifully decorated with an attractive pool and really nice rooftop restaurant. The hostel set us up with a driver who took us to the industrial areas and also to Chokhi Dhani Village which were great trips we probably wouldn't have been able to make without this service- thoroughly recommended. Overall a really good experience!

Very good hotel, very clean, friendly staff. We had a big room with own terrace and nice view out of the room. The restaurant on the top of the roof was nice too. The food was good. Nice pool...The whole hotel was beautiful decorated and painted, all the details gave us the felling like thousend and one nights. The hotel is located in a quite area and not in the city so you have to take a motor rikschaw.
