The room price was R1500,which,was good value
Excellent double bed and good bathroom.
Safe in wardrobe.
Tea and coffee making facilities.
Cable TV was excellent with lots of movie channels in English.
The swimming pool was a nice touch.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
On arrival one is greeted by two large brass bound doors, and, although it's a modern hotel, they have tried to create the impression of antiquity.
At this price and level of comfort pt would be hard to beat.Full marks

We enjoyed our staying in this hotel, I liked the interior and overall decor of the hotel. Quiet, clean, and value for money, moreover there was a good rooftop restaurant. It was the best one during our trip to India

Though we had stayed at other impressive Indian hotels before, the Umaid Bhawan is in a league of its own. The palatial architecture, beautifully designed interior, its little hidden surprises and the peaceful atmosphere provided a degree of relaxation we did not anticipate. Add to this the flexibility of the hotel administration and the convenient, diverse and very affordable restaurant menu, and one arrives at a very pleasurable experience. Not to mention the evening entertainment and pool!

Recently stayed here with a friend and two children and had a great time. The rooms are not overly large but quite adequate with comfortable beds, good air conditioning and they were clean. The pool was the big star of the stay; a great pool and the boys just loved it, even more than going out and seeing the sights.

No complaints other than perhaps there is not around the immediate vicinity in terms of restaurants or places to go but would happily stay again.

Stayed there at the beginning of our four week trip through Rajasthan. Great choice, quiet, pretty, nice rooms and great food at the rooftop restaurant. Little things to appreciate, fridge and safe in the room, plenty of balconies and alcoves to relax and unwind. All this at a good price, would happily stay there again on my next visit to Jaipur.

Have to say this actually is a hidden Gem in the heart of Jaipur, excellent value for money, Decor has been superbly crafted. Our rooms were of a good size and clean and beautifully presented. The Food served was of a high standard and eating in the Rooftop Restaurant was magical. Would certainly stay again if we revisit Jaipur

Room Tip: If you get a good deal on a suite - take it - we did and didn't regret it
