I had been to Jaipur for the 1st time in the 1st week of feb , enjoyed the entire day at Jaipur but when i check in to the hotel in the night i was little disappointed , as the Jr Deluxe room that i had got was very bad and dirty. the photos which makemytrip showed during the booking was totally different when i check in . but management was helpful they immediately changed my room and the other room that we got was good and clean(atleast better than the 1st one that we got). but the fan was not working properly . rest the ambiance is good . you have a small garden where in you can sit and enjoy your evening.

Room Tip: Avoid taking Jr Deluxe Rooms

I recently payed 1000 and stayed at this place for a day in the Junior deluxe room. Felt that it was not worth the money i paid. It has not been maintained properly. The toilet was dirty with water all over, when i checked in. The room heater that they have is just a small portable box which blows hot air in 1 direction. It got pretty cold in the night and the heater was not at all helpful. Also when the front door is closed, there is a big gap between the doors and this cannot be completely shut. As a result it became really cold in the night. Also the fan in the room was not working properly. It runs at only 1 speed. It is either 100000 Rpm or 0.

On the whole, i was totally disappointed with the hotel.

I stayed in this lovely old haveli-turned-into-a-hotel with my mother and grandmother. Chirmi has this beautiful old world charm about it. I loved the old wooden doors which some of the rooms have and the little open terrace on the first floor. After sight-seeing I would never be inside the room, I loved sitting out in the courtyard - lawn or the corridor outside our room. The vintage place has some energy which makes you feel peaceful and comfortable. The room was nice - ours had a four post bed, a clean bathroom with hot and cold water. It also had a sitting area and a writing table - all done up with old style furniture. The food was also good and served fresh- they prepare it after you place the order. The staff was friendly and helpful and so were the owners- especially the owner's wife. A quaint, charming place...would definitely love to stay here again.

Room Tip: Choose from the suites and deluxe rooms.

My husband and I spent one night here in late October. We chose a junior deluxe double room, which at Rs 1200 per night was surprisingly affordable.

Chirmi Palace is an old haweli (ancestral home) converted into a hotel, and hence merits the 'heritage hotel' tag. It's extremely atmospheric, especially at night when it's lit up. We loved the old-fashioned wooden doors and locks.

The food was decent. Though we did learn the hard way that we should order at least half an hour in advance, since they cook the food after we place the order.

The staff was quite friendly, possibly because there were very few other guests (the season was just beginning). In fact, we had a pleasant chat over dinner with the wife of the owner, who told us the history of the haweli and the family.

The only negative is that the rooms are shabby - they need a fresh coat of paint and some new bed-sheets. Since the building used to be a family home, the rooms are not all alike. So it's best to take a look at all the rooms available before making your choice.

The buildings are old, but well maintained and thus only serves to complete the image of a genuine, old-style heritage hotel. The peaceful garden is wonderful to enjoy the hotels well-prepared meals. Breakfast can be taken outside near the swimming pool.

Its a heritage hotel but not actually. You can say its 50% heritage. Location is good as its peaceful and central location and one can also call the location posh. Why one should choose to stay here? Becuase all the hotels around in this area, as far as 1 kilometer are not this affordable and if they are cheaper then they are not that good. Food is very good in terms of budget hotel and bar is very good as well. They have sports bar inspired bar, with snooker table 2 tv and one projector. Ambience of restaurant is very conjusted and small.
Good choice for group stays.

As the name says it all Its a Heritage Property and certainly the wall hangings, wall paintings and look inside gives you the same. We chose to stay in this hotel and opted Junior Deluxe Room, and must say that it was worth choosing and staying there.
They certainly have peace around there, though its in the centre of the city, one may doubt that they may get noise or something but opposite to it, It was very peaceful, there was lovely garden, but unfortunately we could not utilized it for walk or play as we really had less time to stay there. Staff was good and helpful. we got almost everything neat and clean and almost all amenities we needed.

Its certainly going to be booked on our next visit to Jaipur.. :)

Room Tip: " For 2 persons, Junior Deluxe room are perfect"
