The hotel is excellent, just a masterpiece of the architecture. I was more than satisfied, Just only one small thing spoiled the best impression. I wanted to use an Internet, and was charged Rp 240 for half an hour. And the internet had a speed like it was in the last century
After ten minutes I gave up, as I was able to open only one site. In the next hotel I had an internet for Rp. 110 and a good one. Pity that this small thing spoiled the wonderful expression.

This hotel was recommended to us by a friend, so we booked it through a tour guide service. It as far from most of the activity--at least 12km from Jaipur. The hotel was nearly empty except for us and one other large family and a couple others. We stayed two nights and seemed to be the only ones in residence the second night. The staff was almost too helpful in the dining room, but their efforts were appreciated. The menu was just okay and the chef always came out to ask about our meal. The breakfast buffet was just horrible--fruit was not fresh or was overripe, the cheese platter was disgustingly old and dried out. We stuck to a couple items like cereal and toast, but were shocked. The hotel was preparing for a TV reality show to start filming and the entire hotel was is disarray; nobody told us about it nor apologized for it on check-in. We tried to go to the pool, but there were electrical boxes and wires everywhere, and the pool was so dirty and green. Chairs, signs, etc. were fallen down or in disarray and workers were everywhere. Parts of the hotel were dark and scary when we tried to find a quiet spot--and we couldn't access most public spaces; there were even several air-conditioning units out in the hallways, along with other equipment and electrical lines, etc.. The only respite was when the young foreign employees--recent college graduates working in India from Columbia and Croatia (??). They were so helpful and tried to make our stay a little more comfortable by opening up a private balcony where we could relax--although workers were all around us there too. This was like a bad movie, sorry to say, and it just went from bad to worse. We had a small room with three of us, and we thought it was strange that the hotel didn't upgrade us from the beginning since they were nearly empty and we had to put up with construction. We expressed our disappointment to some staff, but no manager ever tried to make it better. On check-out, we paid our bill and were presented with this formal, lovely brochure of the hotel (not sure why, but it was a gesture) and it had black fingerprints all over the outside. We were shocked by all of this--what a waste of a beautiful facility that was clearly not prepared for guests during our visit. We loved all our other hotels on our trip, and we feel we are fair in our appraisal--sorry for the review but this was unreal.

Room Tip: Ask questions before choosing it.

we stayed one night only wish it was for longer. When checked in we were welcomed with a glass of champagne and garlands, We did not have to fill in any forms and stand on reception as it happens every where we been in the world. The staff and service was like we are the prince and princess in this palace. We loved the food, we loved all the facilities provided. The room was exceptionally good. I left my gold bangle and when i rung them half way to agra they kept my Gold bangle safe and handed it to me on my return. I and monika would higly recommend this palace to any one going to jaipur. The customer service was outstanding and higly recommended. i would definitley go back to jaipur ( INDIA) just to stay in this palace for longer period.

We loved this hotel. It was totally over the top but one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. The staff were so friendly and attentive and my only regret was that we couldn't stay any longer.

We were offered champagne on arrival, had a lovely meal in the hotel restaurant and when we asked to have our breakfast outside the staff accommodated us.

I highly recommend this hotel.

We were received like moguls, treated with a lot of attentiveness. We were very much impressed about the beautiful architecture, inside as well as outside. We felt like being in a palace with a lot of attention by the employes. Most attractive was the chance the Marketing Manager gave us showing us the different locations within the hotel and the options of relaxation we could have, if we would have been staying for more than just one night only. We were utmost impressed about the beatiful dining room and the offered Rajasthan music. We indeed will keep this place well in our mind and will recommend to friends when travelling to India.
