I absolutely love the food here and prefer it too al the similar places. Grew in in Kodaikanal so I know and prefer authentic Madurai and Dindigul food and these guys have it.
Prices also cant be beaten and it is a really relaxed place with excellent service.
Their dosas, especially mutton dosas are very good. The nethli is just brilliant and of course the biryanis. Delicious piping hot food I cant get enough of.
Another dish is the thalakarri, it is the best I have ever had.
If Anthony Bourdain ever came to Chennai, this is the first place I would take him.
I heartily recommend this place. Cant go wrong with any of their stuff.

If you are looking for authentic non-veg food from the Madurai region then this is a good bet. Have eaten there a couple of times while visiting Chennai on work and the quality has not changed. The Oru Soru special biriyani is my favourite - well cooked and absolutely delicious. I will make it a point to visit whenever in Chennai.

The owner Heera takes a lot of pride in his food and pays immaculate attention to detail and service and taste which reflects in the Oru Soru experience. Yumm is the word.

We had all southern tamilnadu style non-veg food here. Especially different varities of mutton takes you to memories of Madurai Mess.
