Great rooms on the Velachery side, spacious, well lit. Handy during a tired business trip -- I showed up here sick and groggy, the staff was prompt in getting hold of stuff I needed, including what I thought was one of the front desk guys pulling out his own aspirin. A slight disadvantage is that the location is not really a walkable neighborhood, the other Hyatt in the city is much better for that. This is a functional joint with an extremely helpful staff, and an neat bar. Not that Chennai is a great city for Sauna, but for what it's worth this hotel has the best Sauna I have ever used at a hotel in India.
