Owner description: Adding another feather to its intellectual cap, Chennai is now home to South Asia’s largest library. So if you are a book lover and need a break from the city’s commotion, this is the place for you. The Anna Centenary Library is an eight-story structure that has recently added to the city’s growing modern landscape in the Kotturpuram area. A Braille section, children’s corner, replica of the "Tree of Knowledge," an auditorium and an amphitheater make quite an impression on visitors.

This is a huge, breezy reading place, with ample space to park the car. As I entered inside the breeze was just pushing me in its direction. Its a calm place to sit, read, write, draw etc

Yup, it's a library! Has several floors, each floor contains a couple rooms, in each room there are shelves and on these shelves there are books!

Whoever wrote it was well maintained clearly didnt need to use the restroom!!

It's a library...nothing special. Nice looking exterior, but not worth making a trip, unless your driving by it anyway.

The Library is equipped with all topics and has huge collection of books neatly arranged and maintained. You cant imagine a govt property being maintained so neat and clean. This library is a heaven for book worms.
