This is my maiden visit to this temple. I am sure gods and goddess live in Kapaleeswarar abode. Cleanliness and neatness is definitely and rightly said is Godlines. The ambience and surrounding is spic and span. I prayed to the Lord Kapaleeswarar to dwell there permanently.
Last but not the least
The prasadams are fit for the gods.
Delicious and finger licking quality and more than a handful in quantity
. People living near the temple are gifted by the Gods to live a heavenly life

Impressive looking temple. Numerous religious activities carried on simultaneously in different parts in sections of this religious place. I recommend you weae adequate clothing out of respect for the people that come to worship.
You may want to check the schedule for different religious events in case you want to attend them. Photographing religious events is frowned upon.

Temples are always a place of serenity and blessings.
A visit to this temple is a must on your visit to Chennai .
Early morning is the best time to visit to avoid crowd and also enjoy the solitude and tranquility of the sanctum .
