I always come back as the service is excellent with nice size rooms. You can see the TV from anywhere in the room. Though I never had the see view the city one is nice too. The food is good though not cheap.

My wife and I had the opportunity to spend a night at the Leela this past Friday.

The hotel is beautiful. There is lovely art throughout the hotel, the pool area is an oasis and the furnishings in the public areas are stunning.

The service provided by the staff was in a word perfect. I could not have asked for any better.

We stayed in a lovely sea view room which was outstanding.

Thank you for a perfect evening.

Room Tip: Go for the sea view room. They are marvelous.

This is an ultra modern hotel in the heart of Chennai. I stayed there for 2 nights and found the hotel staff efficient, the room spacious and very well appointed, and the bathroom accessories of extremely high quality. The food was excellent –particularly breakfast and lunch, both of which were buffets.

I was on the 9th floor with a view of the pool, but i am sure one can try and get a sea facing room, as the view is really eye pleasing. For some reason I didn’t have a tea/coffee maker on the first day which was automatically rectified the next.

I was attending a conference and found the staff polite and ready to oblige one’s requirement quickly.
The only pain point is that you have to keep running your bag thru the scanner when you move between the conference room section and the section which houses the rooms. But this is required for security and is for our own protection.
A recommended hotel, particularly for business travellers, will also admirably suit the needs of the fairly well heeled leisure traveller and the restaurant is recommended as well for the cuisine – you get sushi for lunch amongst a whole bunch of other stuff, not cheap, but wonderful on the palate.

So, we checked up on the Official Leela site for a weekend Getaway cos Its my birthday! A full page description on a weekend Package offered with breakfast and lunch! Not a cheap package either. Instead of Booking on line, we called to make a reservation, as we wanted to clarify the offer. Reservation staff had no clue about what was on line, plus "after checking with the manager" they called me and said, that offer is not available on THIS weekend, but they can give it in a different weekend! And the height of it all, instead of apologizing, the staff was selling me other packages that included airport transfers, business centre use and board room bookings. This was all after they clarified i was living in town and had a 3 year old. I'm sure I will make reservations with u again someday. But not by succumbing to tricks! Oh yeah! Never on my Birthday!

This is one of the best hotels in Chennai , who is providing the high level of luxury . When stayed here , I feel like a prince or King . Hotel staff is treating in a very well manner & in a pleasant way and you will see this on entering the hotel when greeted warmly; spacious and ultra luxurious rooms with a small balcony and large bathroom. well stocked minibar. The food is very good in Jamavar restaurant is probably the most extensive and lavish i have ever had.

Thanks

We stayed in Leela Palace, in April and it was an amazing experience. The staff are very much helpful, upon checkin the staff took us to the room, explained us the facilities across the hotel and timings..! The room was amazing, with a clear sea view and excellent comfort. We stayed during the weekdays and the pool on the fourth floor was like exclusive for us, due to less occupants. We tried the street food festival on Tuesday night, and it was gorgeous..! We were given an early check in and a late check out, which was perfect for our purpose of travel.
We are going back again to Leela Palace, chennai in June.
