This Hotel is old and it shows. However neatly kept. Think the central AC has been extended so it doesn't work too well. Good buffet breakfast. Very centrally located.Nice staff.Worth it for rooms and stay. BAD POINTS: Avoid the restaurant Minar (Mughlai and Awadh advertsied) and Malgudi(South indian).Minar has dishes and soups where the meat in the non-veg is nonexistant (even in Biryani). Soup is just liquid. And very high prices. NOT at ALL worth one fourth the price.Same with Malgudi.Pathetic and pricey, very poor service(delayed).Same as Minar.Had to gobble a samosa at the airport to make up the empty stomach! Go outside to Ponnuswamy or Andhra restaurant nearby , you will be fed well and your pocket will still have money

It claims to be a 4 star but Id not even rate it as 1 star, lowest possible VFM.

Completely outdated rooms, very bad service.

Nothing works in its favor,

I have stayed at this hotel at least 4 different times. The people are wonderful, the renovated rooms are nice, the outdoor pool area is fantastic (and beautiful), and there are three amazing restaurants on site (one with a fantastic buffet) that serve a great range of Indian and fusion dishes. There's a beauty parlour in the hotel, and it's very good. There's a small, quiet bar as well.

I look forward to staying at this hotel - the staff make you feel welcome, and it's an extremely comfortable stay. Even though it's in a busy area, it's pretty quiet. They offer money exchange services, or you can walk for about 15 minutes to a large forex.

I stayed there for more than a month and always felt like home. It was the first hotel i have stayed in which organize parties for people who are staying in for a long duration. The hotel can match any 5 star rated hotel in terms of facilities and comfort. Best place to eat in and stay.

I stayed here a business trip for 4 nights. The hotel and rooms like very old. Some sites list this hotel as 4 star and honestly it needs lot on renovation.

The bathroom interiors need work and toiletries are not stuffed. The rooms and bed are ok. When I checked in I was handed out a note saying that "renovation is in progress and the guests may hear distubing noise between 9am and 6pm". However the room that was I allocated when I checked in at 9pm was very noise because for some work.

Later the hotel shifted me to another room. They have roof top restaurant but the service is not good and food is ok.

Absolutely not worth the price that you are paying for. You can get much better hotels at the same price.
