“small garden, beautiful species”
Reviewed 7 July 2013

This Zoo is managed by Forest Department. May be due to this reason I havn't found tourists visiting this garden. However good place to see if you are a flower lover. Good variety of flowers, orchids etc.

“A walk amidst the beauty”
Reviewed 15 June 2013

To reach the park, you need to take a walk down the steep. The park offers you some really good views. Its a peaceful place to connect with nature. You will find yourself on well-maintained paths lined by dense trees.

“Fun Visit which should be a must when in Darjeeling”
Reviewed 16 May 2013

Visual feast in the mist.Rare vareities of plants and flowers on the display. Not the typical crowded city parks:)You feel relaxed and enjoy the place in this quite atmosphere. There are more places here to watch as we keep walking.Defenitely this would atleast need Half a Day to get to see all areas.

“Great collection and a lot to see - must visit”
Reviewed 14 May 2013

This garden is almost a quarter of the size of darjeeling itself and apart from being very vast, it is very well maintained and sports a large variety of flowers, herbs and trees from around the world.

There is a lot to walk so be prepared to walk but it is very rewarding. There is a climber that is more than 200 years old and is going stronger. I even saw a cactus grafted to a normal tree.
This place is a must visit if you have the stamina

Botanical garden is really too good!! A pleasure for birding. Don't forget to visit a small but beautifully arranged section for orchids and flowers!! Its on the left side once you enter the garden.
