“Enjoyable evening !”
Reviewed 1 July 2013

My husband and I, as well as our son and his girlfriend (early and mid-20's) enjoyed our evening aboard the Pickwick Belle very much! The staff were very kind and the keyboardist who was the entertainment that evening just made the night for me. The food was good and we had no issues with trying to eat while on board. The restrooms were clean :) For a relaxing evening, this was great. I'm sure the sightseeing cruise would be just as nice. Tanya with the office was very courteous and gave me all the information I needed.

“Most Enjoyable Cruise”
Reviewed 1 July 2013

The Prime Timers Senior Adult Group from Chattanooga, Tn. enjoyed a lunch cruise this past week (6-27-13) The experience was beyond what we expected. The crew and Capt. Mike were all so helpful and friendly and very courteous. The food was delicious and served promptly by the lovely crew. The musical entertainment was outstanding. We recommend this experience for any group wishing to have a wonderful time on the water aboard the Pickwick Belle.

“Loved the Dinner Cruise!”
Reviewed 23 June 2013

We had a great time on the “Dinner with the King – Elvis” cruise. Great food (pork tenderloin, squash casserole, green beans, rolls, and banana pudding) in the indoor dining room, and fun entertainment on the open upper deck! The river is beautiful at sunset and at night. This is fun for couples and groups, and my teenage daughter and I loved it too.

“Enjoyable cruise”
Reviewed 28 April 2013

Attended for a business trip and enjoyed the meal and entertainment. If I had to pay out of pocket, not sure the price would be worth it. The boat is comfortable and the river is beautiful. It's a unique offering in the area but I'd only recommend if you are in the area for an extended stay. There is a lot to see in the Shoals area.

“nothing to it, not worth the price, misleading advertising”
Reviewed 30 August 2012

$49.99, plus 9% tax, plus 18% (required, prepaid) gratuity = $63.49
Dinner was a mediocre cheese burger, sides were itty, bitty little cups of salad & beans, followed by a small slice of mediocre pie, which several of us had to wait a long time for.
At the most, meal was about ~$10. value.

Billed as "Parrot Head Night", the event description said "All your Favorite Jimmy Buffett songs", but turned out to be the Captain's neighbor strumming a guitar. After playing some unknown songs, when asked for Buffet tunes, he said he knew only a few. An employee, was heard to say the management assumed no one would notice or care if we heard Buffett songs or not - WHAT?!?!?!?

Anyone familiar with the TN River through Decatur, knows there isn't much too see - mostly just manufacturing plants and a few are pretty stinky.

We felt like we'd stumbled upon an after church luncheon. Chairs on the deck were arranged as if for a lecture. Because some of us were still waiting for dessert downstairs while others headed up to the deck, our group of 20+ friends was scattered, thus not even able to talk with one another, never mind dance, or otherwise enjoy the time we were "stuck" on the boat.
