We enjoyed our stay in Ariel's Beach House Side A. The ocean views and breezes were wonderful, and we enjoyed our time on both beach-view balconies (upstairs and downstairs). Short walk across the street to a beautiful beach. We and our pets appreciated the downstairs fenced yard, patio with picnic table/grill and outdoor shower. Having a washer/dryer made our trip easier. We did not want to leave and will definitely stay at Ariel's Beach House again!
We booked this duplex at the last minute as we had plans to go to South Carolina and was afraid Hurricane Irma was heading there. We needed a pet friendly house that could accommodate 5 families. We had never been to Gulf Shores before. The house was in a great location and less than 15 minutes away from grocery stores and restaurants. We rented both sides of this duplex and the only difference in Side A was really the beds/mattresses. Side B had normal height beds but Side A had low frames and mattresses and it made it very uncomfortable for the 2 guys who were both over 5'11 and my pregnant sister who had to use those rooms. Our other complaint was that none of the TV's upstairs worked. i think one had a dvd player attached but you couldnt watch any TV on them and they were outdated. We didnt have any problems with the Wifi. We had a minor issue with one of the bathrooms and the owner contacted us right away and it was resolved quickly the next morning. There are a good bit of steps and although the beach is right across the street, the access was a few steps more away but still not bad. The fenced in backyard was great for the dog.
