We have played at Craft Farms each of the last three years and it has been a great experience each time. We played Cypress Bend twice this week and despite heavy rains over the weekend, the course was in very good shape (with the exception of some sand traps). The course is challenging but not back breaking. If you play from the proper tees you will have a very enjoyable round of golf. We had such a good time on Monday that, after our round, we played 9 more holes.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This sets Craft Farms apart in the area. Some courses are almost "mom and pop" with their staff and you have people that don't know what they are doing. Others treat you as if you're fortunate they let you pay to play their course. Craft Farms is neither of those. They provide a "country club for the day" service, but are very laid back at the same time.
We'll be back at Craft Farms on our next trip to Gulf Shores.
