We originally only came here because my wife wanted to do the Kangaroo encounter. I am glad we walked around elsewhere though! Very nice zoo and do not have to worry about getting lost as it makes one big circle so you can make sure to see everything. They also allow you to pay $2.00 for a cup of food and can feed various animals. Several different animal encounters you can do and the prices are not bad at all, I think was just a little over $30.00 for both of us to get in the zoo and do the Kangaroos. Staff is very friendly and informative and animals do seem really taken care of. Would def. recommend visiting as only takes a couple of hours at most! They are also expanding and opening a new zoo I believe either next summer or fall so will be a lot bigger.

We drove 3 hours out of our way to go to this zoo for the second time. We used to watch the show so we are familiar with some of the animals. We love how close you can get to them. It is a very interactive zoo with lots of animal encounters. The staff appears to really care about the animals and they are very informative. This zoo is small so it does not take a whole day to do it. We did it in the morning in June before it got really hot and we had a wonderful time.

This is a hidden gem on the coast. A small but very well maintained zoo. Perfect place to take the kids that doesn't take all day to tour. The staff are engaging and friendly and the animals are beautiful. Well worth the trip

My husband & I took our 9 yr old boy. We did the Lemur, kangaroo and reptile encounters. The staff was willing to answer every question my child had with thought & patience. I am thankful that they do see the need to move to a larger facility for the well being of some of the more active animals. Getting up close and personal with these animals was a great experience.
