“Great beer, great prices, friendly people.”

You'll love their signature Monkeynaut IPA, and the rest of their selections are just as good. Be sure to try the barrel aged beers. Tours are available on Saturdays. $5 pints, $1 samples, or get a sampler. No food, but the food truck makes frequent stops, or you can bring your own.

STA taproom is a great spot to grab local craft beers in Huntsville. The owners have a true passion for beer and have great standard and seasonal offerings.

“Great Beers, Friendly Atmosphere”
Reviewed 25 September 2012

Straight to Ale is first and foremost a brewery, and a tap-room second. I find the STA tap room to be a great way to enjoy a pint of one of their outstanding brews, available in either a pint glass, or in 4 oz sample glasses. The tap room serves all of the traditional STA favorites such as Monkeynaut, Lily Flagg Milk Stout, and other smaller batches made and served exclusively for the tap room. There are usually about 10 of their beers on tap at any given time.

Prices are very reasonable, service is quick, and the beer is second to none. What more can I say?

The taproom at Straight to Ale is a great place to stop in and try some great local brews. It's nothing fancy and there's nothing other then good beer at a great price.

“Great beer and atmosphere”
Reviewed 25 September 2012

This is one of my favorite places in Huntsville to grab a beer with friends. They always have a great selection of their beers, which are brewed on-site. Their selection usually includes their traditional line of beers and and a few seasonals on rotation. If you are having trouble picking out which beer you want ask Fico, their friendly bartender, or go with the sampler platter.

The taproom also has an old school arcade with titles ranging from Ms Pac Man, to pin ball, to Golden Tee. Prices for the arcade are very in-exspensive, so bring a pocket full of quarters.

There is additional seating in the actual brewery--I love sitting in the brewery area when the brewmasters are working. The brewery seating area also has cornhole, dart boards, ping pong tables, and foosball all of which are free to play.

Straight to Ale does not serve food, but they do allow you to bring in your own snacks or meals.

They also offer tours for a nominal fee on Saturday afternoons. Most of the tours are led by Henry who works in the brewery, is very friendly and knowledgable about their process.
