“Great hotel”
Reviewed 16 June 2012

The room was very clean. The breakfast was well done. The staff was very helpful. I went to the spa and had a hot stone massage. It was good, but a little pricey. Overall, good hotel. Nothing super stunning, but it was comfortable and made my stay in Huntsville enjoyable.

Stayed here for a week in June, 2012, for work. The stay was exceptional. As a Hilton Honors Diamond Member, I was placed on the 10th floor. The room was the standard Embassy Suites King Room. The room was cleaned thoroughly daily. The breakfast is delicious although it can be busy at times when the hotel is heavily occupied. Sometimes am charged for parking; sometimes I am not - It all seems to depend on the clerk checking you in. Parking is $5.60 per night. This hotel is my number one choice in Huntsville.

Room Tip: Request a room on the 10th floor.

This was a standard stay - clean, upper-floor 2-room suite, well-kept furnishings, wonderful breakfast.

Front desk staff was neither welcoming nor curt - she just didn't seem to care either way that I was checking in. The doorman, however, smiled and reminded me as I exited the cab that they offered a free shuttle on my return to the airport.

There are limited mid-range food options - room service gets pricey, the full-service lobby restaurant is Ruth's Chris, and the bar serves the full Ruth's Chris menu at Ruth's Chris prices. I found myself venturing out for walks for food, or ordering $9-$14 bar appetizers as meals. Per diem only goes so far!

As we would expect from a new ES, everything was sparkling, staff was good, breakfast was good. The only thing I didn't like was a $5.00 parking charge for a hotel in Huntsville. The young man at check in told me "the city requires it." It was just strange. There are no gates, completely open parking, and still a $5.00 charge.

Just returned from a 3 day stay here for a Hamacon anime convention, and really enjoyed my stay.
The hotel is connected to the convention center by the second floor sky bridge and the hotel's underground parking made it a breeze getting to the convention.
As usual the morning breakfast at Embassy Suites has everything a hungry man needs. The staff was very helpful, rooms clean, and there was a very well equipped gift/snack shop in the lobby open till 10pm. A nice touch.
Looking forward to next year..

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room get one high and on the elevator end, away from the food/ breakfast area.

Very nice hotel, clean, not dazzling. People are what makes an experience great. The check in was easy, the room was clean. We had to request more towels right away and when we pulled out the hide a bed, there were dirty sheets on it. The highlight was a housekeeper named Pam. When we called for more towels and clean sheets or the hide a bed, Pam was a pure delight. Her smile was contagious, and she was genuinely concerned for our comfort during our stay. She took an interest in our grand kids, and even stopped off by the pool to check on them. Thank you, Pam, you are great!
