This place is awesome and more and more people love it. You will find all kinds of folks here for a very good reason. There is no other mexican food like it. Great health ratings, and incredible food. No chips and salsa here - picked vegetables ( carrots, onions, and jalapenos which are awesome) I can't seem to get away from ordering a chicken burrito which is always awesome. Grab a seat at the picnic table, pass a bottle of red sauce back and forth with the regulars. You won't be disappointed, unless you are addicted to "McMexican" food.

Sportcoats sitting next to paint and plaster covered jeans. One thing in common - they know the bus is the best secret in town.

If you're looking for fine dining..look somewhere else..if you"re looking and longing for authentic,,here is the place. It's some sort of vehicle parked in a garage/building with an ordering window on the side. We tried the tamales and they were delicious..especially with the red and green sauces that came along. We are sure to try the Number 2 restaurant in another location..this is carry-out only...but very worth it...

El Cazador's is *the* place to get authentic Mexican style tacos. Several types of meat to choose from (beef, chicken, pork and lengua) also. Other itmes are available such as mulitas, burrito, quesadilla and so much more. The tacos remain my favorite, though. The staff is friendly whether you speak the language or not. Ordering is easy, so do not be intimidated if you don't speak Spanish! Great food, authentic fare and a real value make this an easy 5 stars!

When people learn that I moved to from California to Alabama, the usual response is "WHY would you do such a thing?"

Regardless of the answer, it's been tough to find authentic Mexican food since my arrival. I ate at the actual restaurant, located in a really shady strip mall that just screams East L.A. This is a laid-back hole in the wall establishment, but that only serves to highlight their awesome food. I got three tacos (chicken, pastor, and carne asada) and was in heaven. I feel like they may take the spice down a bit more than I am used to, and so, to put it in a nice way, I think they are probably just being sensitive to the needs of the majority of their clientele. Oh but there's Tapatio to liven up your plate, as well as a little bar on the side with pico de gallo, salsa, and the like.
Oh they also have Jarritos and mexican CocaCola, as well as Horchata and Tamarindo. But no Jamaica :( Gimme my hibiscus juice!

Taco truck tacos! Tamales are awesome, stuffed with spicy pork and wrapped in corn husks, the way they're supposed to be. And huge--one $5 order feeds two or more, and they are better than the ones served at a particular "gourmet" upscale "Mexican" restaurant a few miles away. Try the tacos al pastor served with pickled jalapenos and vegetables and an ice-cold horchata to cool your mouth...tastes like liquid cinnamon rolls. If you want a dine-in experience, El Cazador #2 on Governors Dr. is a converted school bus with counters on the inside, heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer. Make sure to ask for red and green salsa. El Cazador is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town. I'd rather go here than any other place.
