We had a fabulous time at the camellia house. Kathy and Tim were the perfect hosts.our rooms were clean and comfortable. The southern breakfast with grits and bacon was a perfect start to the day. We followed up with a visit to Tim's ice cream shop. You will love a stay at camellia house .

We have been visiting this B&B for the past 3 years and it has become our annual tradition. There is nothing like when you visit a small town of America and find a traditional 19 century Victorian home which takes you back to the past. That's what this B&B is, Kathy and her husband make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive with a welcoming signage of guest names. Your room is filled with amenities and decors like a museum, but with comfort. We enjoy our every day elegant breakfast, or a glass of wine on the day bed looking out to the garden or even a relaxing time with a cup of tea on the sofa. Your bed is neatly made every day and even a nice touch of a piece of chocolate on the bed. The room is very clean and fresh towels are ready for your comfort. We look forward to next Spring visit. Until then...

Our family had 3 rooms and could not have wished for a more positive and memorable visit. We were in town for the memorial of our mother and she must have lead us to this sweet place. This Bed and Breakfast was the first B&B for some of us, and it could not have been a better introduction. Kathy was so personable and warm and the rooms most pleasant. She has really thought of everything and aims to please. We want to thank you for the delicious breakfast - and loved your porch swing, stories and ice cream shop too!

This is a lovely old restored Victorian home. Very clean, spacious rooms and a large outdoor area with great porches for relaxing. Cathy makes a wonderful breakfast, too. I would definitely stay here again.

The home is lovely, breakfast is delicious and the hosts, Tim and Cathy Dowdy, are just the sweetest people. Want a nice chat? You won't find one better. Want a place for quiet and contemplation? They do that, too. Wonderful place to stay and highly recommended.

I am from Ft Ldle, Fl & I bring my Mom to a family reunion every year. She is 86 & loves staying at the Camellia House. This year was our 7th time staying. We feel at home & Kathy & Tim(the owners)feel like family. It is a very clean place & the food is great!!! We have already made reservations for next year. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!! I would recommend this B&B to anyone wanting a nice comfortable place to stay.
