“Loved it!!”

We had 3 night stay at this wonderful hideaway. We booked the 2 bedroom Harding Suite as we were traveling with our 13 and 15 year old children. The accommodations were absolutely beautiful and were everything and more than we had expected from the photos that we had seen online. The restored 110 year old home was quite charming and it was so relaxing to sit on the wrap around porch drinking the morning coffee and listen to the birds. It is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood complete with the grandeur of huge live oaks. The actual location was very convenient to many attractions including historical sites, many nature walks, beaches, most within 15-45 minutes driving distance.

To complement the beautiful accommodations, our hosts David and Eric were absolutely wonderful hosts! They bent over backwards to make sure that we were comfortable during our stay and advised us on places to visit, restaurants, and had pamphlets/maps, etc available. David is a skilled chef and prepared a fantastic 3 course breakfast every morning at 9:00.
Besides being delicious, David also made sure that the meal was healthy. He made special arrangements to prepare vegetarian meals for us, and even cooked special pancakes for our children!

Overall, we were very pleased that we had chosen Magnolia Springs B&B. We will definitely return! David and Eric truly love what they do and that is what makes this B&B such a success!!

My Husband and I were looking for some where to stay for one night before departing on a Cruise out of Mobile. We just HAPPEN to come across Magnolia Springs! We didnt realize that would be the MOST amazing night of our life! We loved the beautiful and quiet little town, and the gorgeous home! We were greetd by name and instantly felt as if we had been friends with the owners forever! They were SOOOO nice! They told us of a great restraunt "The Tin Top" the local restraunt was closed on Sunday! "The Tin Top" was a few miles away BUT SO worth the drive! Casual seafood restraunt but They treated us as if we were royalty! We woke to a WONDERFUL breakfast! The only regret was we only stayed one night! I was ready to cancel my cruise by the end of my stay! From the moment we pulled out of the drive I have READY to go back! I cant wait to plan my end of summer stay at Magnolia Springs!!!! Its a great place for a relaxing stay or romantic getaway!

This was our second visit in 5 years. The care of the hosts, the charm of the historic home, the quiet and secluded street, and the close proximity to many activities and shopping all played a part in our selection. We will recommend this restful spot to our friends.

We were married at Rosemary Beach on Saturday & I planned for us to spend a couple of days on the way home winding down from the wedding week.

A friend had mentioned Magnolia to us, but little did we realize how magical it is.

We spent an extra day at the beach with friends & family, and Dave was VERY accomodating about that In hindsight, I wish that we had gotten there sooner.

It was Monday evening when we did arrive. Dave & Eric both met us. Dave gave us a detailed tour & description of the B & B, then left us to relax. This place is intended for relaxation.

We took a quiet walk around the beautiful & friendly town. After that, we sat on the front porch and talked. Eric visited with us for a while, which really made us feel welcome.

Then we had a great dinner within walking distance of the B & B. When we got back, there was a congrat's banner in the room. What a sweet touch.

The breakfast was great. The only downside was leaving too soon.

There is so much to do around Magnolia Springs & So much to not do, if you choose as well. For either one, this is the place to stay!!

We went to Magnolia Springs for a belated anniversary trip and had a wonderful time! The Bed and Breakfast is located in a beautiful community that is very convenient to Fairhope, Point Clear, Foley, Mobile, and Gulf Shores. However, it was hard to pull us away from the rockers and swing on the front porch, which is an excellent place to drink coffee while waiting on your gourmet breakfast. Also, there is a wonderful restaurant and old fashioned market within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone looking to get away while still being close to many attractions.

I cannot speak highly enough about Magnolia Springs Bed & Breakfast in Magnolia Springs, Alabama! The property is a beautifully rennovated historic hotel--over 100 years old--with all the modern conveniences yet still retaining the "old world" charm of a bygone era. Innkeepers David and Eric excel in pampering you with a delicious, homemade, three-course breakfast each morning and are more than happy to provide you with all kinds of information about the area. The inn sits on lovely Oak Street, with magnificent views from the front porch of the huge live oak trees that line the entire street. In about 20 minutes--either to the west (Mobile Bay) or to the south (Gulf Shores)--you can be on the beach. Jesse's Restaurant, a delightful and casual gourmet restaurant ,sits just down from the inn on Oak Street. The Magnolia Bed & Breakfast cannot be beat for beauty, comfort, and true Southern hospitality!

  • Liked — The peacfulness and comfort in a beautiful setting.
  • Disliked — Can't think of anything it lacked.

Our 3 night stay at the Magnolia Springs Bed and Breakfast was an absolute delight. David and Eric were such gracious hosts and inn keepers and Dave is a marvelous cook. Our breakfasts were delicious. It was thrilling to stay in a renovated 110 year old house with such a history; David gave us the history and tour of the whole home and our accommodations were very comfortable. He takes great pride and cares for the house so that it is in pristine condition. He is also a great tour director and knows the area so well that he very willingly helped guide us to make the most of our days in this very genteel Southern setting. A perfect vacation!
