Magnolia Springs Bed & Breakfast

The service was excellent...Eric & David were wonderful. The McClellan room was the best room with a historical, warm feel. Jesse's Restaurant is just down the street and the food/atmosphere was great. Foley isn't so far away if you want to do a little shopping and Gulf Shores is less than an hour away if you want to enjoy the beach. I loved all the history Magnolia Springs has to offer.

My daughter and I traveled to Magnolia Springs for her birthday in December. The house was beautifully decorated for the holidays, and the breakfasts were heavenly! The owners were so friendly and gracious. They helped us with suggestions and directions to attractions in the area. I would love to go back with my husband next time.

We have stayed here for multiple getaways. It is a very comfortable place from the rooms to the den to the porches. The breakfast is always wonderful. The area is very relaxing with the river across the street and the oak lined street.

We live in western Iowa. Over Christmas weekend, we had plans to spend time with family in western Mississippi and had purchased plane tickets to Jackson, MS. Circumstances prevented us to visit family, but we still had the tickets to use. So, we decided to make the best of it and look for "someplace" to go over the Christmas weekend. My goodness, what a gem we found when we located Magnolia Springs Bed and Breakfast. All of the reviews were very positive and they were able to take guests over Christmas. So, we booked 3 evenings. The accommodations were wonderful and the food fabulous. David and Eric are incredible hosts and take a lot of pride in their lovely house. The original woodwork is amazing - from floor to ceiling. The Christmas decorations - especially the Christmas tree in the living room - was beautiful! It's unfortunate we don't live closer. However, we would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay. The weather could have been better...but the entire country was having issues. Oak Street has beautiful trees that overhang the road like a canopy - it must be absolutely beautiful in the spring and summer months! Even though we had to leave at 4:00 AM to drive to Jackson, MS to catch our flight, David made sure we had breakfast to take with us and prepared some fresh fruit, muffins, breakfast bars and a beverage. You really need to plan a trip to the Gulf Shores area and make reservations at Magnolia Springs B&B.

For our anniversary we visited the Magnolia Springs Bed and Breakfast. We had a very relaxing time. The room was beautiful and there were amazing architectural details in each room. The breakfast each morning was delicious and thee was no need to eat lunch. We will definitely be back!

Magnolia Springs is like staying somewhere in another place in time. It is Southern Hospitality at it's finest. We stayed during the holiday season where the majestic Christmas greest you at the front door, along with the most gracious hosts, David and Eric. We had a wonderful short stay...then went to Gulf Shores which is only a 10-15 min drive.
The detailsare to perfection making this place wonderful , as well as the delicious gourmet breakfast.

Thanks again,

Jo and Thad Gardner
