Description: Jesse's is a unique and eclectic dining experience located in the quaint village of Magnolia Springs. Our main dining room is located where the Post office was housed in the late 1800's. Jesse's..."The Steakhouse Destination" for our guest who appreciate dry and wet aged steaks, fresh local seafood and signature entrees from our Executive Chef Rebecca Jordan. Jesse's has an extensive wine menu with over 100 different wines to choose from and signature cocktails. The new owners, Steve and Angie Coltharp, have worked with their Chef to ensure every item is not only made in house, but is of the highest quality ingredients. Jesse's has been listed by several periodicals: Southern Living, Coastal Living, Mobile Bay Monthly, and most recently Coastal Alabama. Jesse's is casual fine dining at it's best and we are kid friendly. Located 20 minutes from Fairhope, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach just off of highway 98 and highway 49. Reservations suggested.

Jesse's is a gem that locals have enjoyed for years. You have got to know where you are going to get there, but it is worth the effort. Charming and warm, this restaurant is known for its entrees, but don't miss the appetizers. Fried oysters are some of the best around.

The tour guide showing five of us around the highlights of the Alabama Gulf Coast said no tour this area would be complete without a meal at Jesse's in tiny Magnolia Springs. So we drove to this off-the-beaten-track restaurant to find that many, many others had already beaten a path to their door. The parking lot was about sthree-quarters full. Over the many years, it's been converted from one commercial enterprise to another, finally emerging as a steak house that's been featured, if I recall correctly, on a major TV program on the Food Network, if I recall correctly. They offer a lot of different steaks, but the one featured on the TV program was their Jack Daniels soaked ribeye, which, of course, being a "bourbon and branch" man, I just had to have. It may not have been the best steak I've had (I think I may have cooked that), but it was certainly in the top five along with a steak at Canlis Restaurant in Seattle, one at Ruth's Chris somewhere, That Steak Joynt in Chicago and one in Kansas City.

The restaurant wanders all over the place with five charming, separate dining rooms, all different size and all decorated differently. Jesse herself came over to our table to chat a bit, and told us almost everyone has a favorite room and asks to be seated there.

It is expensive to be sure, and unless you're really well healed, it will be, as it is for most, a special occasion place. But the food, service and ambiance will help make that occasion really special.

We were looking for a bakery when we ran across this restaurant. It was lunch time so we decided to eat here. We had hamburgers and they were huge and really really good. Want to go back and try the steaks. A local said they have the best steaks around.

Jesse's is off the beaten path - located on Oak Street in beautiful Magnolia Springs. The atmosphere is perfect for a date with your significant other. The food is delicious! They seriously have the best rib-eye steak you will ever have - it's melt in the mouth good. The Caesar dressing is made in house, and their house salad is excellent. You can't go wrong at Jesse's.

Myself along with family and friends have been making the 1.5 hour trip to this hidden gem several times a year.(for many years) We have eaten at Jessie's, which we like, but the less formal Cold Hole is more our style. You have the options of bar seating or tables. TVs spread through-out. Majority of patrons appear to be locals! Always a positive. Several of the servers/ bartenders have been there for years and they are always friendly and helpful with selections.
Now for the food! Great menu..something for everyone. We have never had a bad meal...some better than others..but always solid...yummy, fresh, well seasoned and ample entrees. My husband and I had a favorite entree the past few years... The lamb chops! So tender and juicy. Cooked with a great crunch on the crust and full of flavor! But..they have added a couple dry aged steaks in the past year and it's become our other favorite! Wish all decision were this fun to make! Any seafood special we have had has been just as advertised..fresh.
Worth the drive from Gulf Shores to get away from the overcrowded restaurants.
