“Great place, lovely owners”
Reviewed 16 August 2011

We stayed here as a group of 5 in July 2011. It was pretty cheap and the rooms were great, spacious, with a fridge, a balcony and a clean bathroom with a western toilet, and the ceiling fan was really effective at keeping it cool. The owners were so nice, they helped us to book trains to our next destination and a hostel which was really helpful. We got our laundry back within 24 hours, it wasn't that cheap but we found this to be the case throughout India.
The only downside is that it's not that close to the beach or bars but taxis aren't too expensive in a group, and you can hire scooters to get around cheaply.

Room Tip: The room on the top floor on the left was great.

do not stop here, we were in a group of backpackers it was at least 25 mins walk from the main beachfront shops, pubs etc on dark country lanes filled with groups of stray angry dogs. The owners are never to be found on reception we gave them some laundry it was late, missing a few items and they charged alot of money. There is nothing to do here unless u walk the 30 min walk to the beachfront in 30oc heat, no places to eat or nothing just derelict pubs and bars gone out of business, head to baga or calagunte

The place was value for money. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Anjuna beach was nearby. A superstore and german bakery was also near by. I would recommend the place to every one. They also provide bikes on rent and have cyber cafe at downstairs

I stayed here just a week ago, before arrival i was bit nervous as to where i was staying, upon arrival i was over the moon, i was greeted with a warm welcome and showed to my room, i had a large double bed to myself, fridge, private bathroom/shower room, tv, balcony, large ceiling fan, i was very impressed with the standard of the room, Firstly i met tina the lady who runs the internet cafe below, she was super friendly and really helpful and within ten minutes she had organised me a bike, i later met vanita and jollwyn who run the hotel and the same applied, lovely friendly warm welcoming people and keen to help with any problem, jollwyn and tina also run a money exchange place called mama janets which was also very helpful, the hotel is lovely situated central anjuna down a road and a one minute walk from orchard stores, i cant say enough about this place i thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definatly be going back, the warmness and friendliness of tina, jollwyn and vanita made it just that bit more special, as a lone traveller they made me welcome and i always felt there was someone around for me if needed. all in all 10 out of 10 for price and every other aspect.
