We stayed here for a day. The staff was extremely polite and courteous. The owner is an absolute gentleman. The room was clean, breezy, and spacious. We stayed in the Classic room (the one without the Balcony). Slightly overpriced considering there's no in-room WiFi, and no Breakfast included in the room charge. The Romeo's Restaurant is just down the cobbled path and serves up some good food (doesn't accept cards for payments though). The beach is about 3 kms from the Resort. Do stay here for a good Goa experience.

The hotel is well maintained and clean at all times, the showers and toilet were spic-and-span. Located at a perfect distance from (Vagator and Anjuna), you can enjoy what you do at the beach, but comeback to safe, quiet and clean place. The restaurant on the premises is ok, though pricey. Not all dishes served was good, but some were great. Most phones dont work very well in the area specially inside the rooms, which makes the non-existant wifi all the more needed. The pool is inviting and very clean. The one problem I had was that the room I stayed was too small, I stayed with another friend of mine, we did not have place to keep our luggage, but all the other rooms where my friends stayed did not have this problem. Please check the room before you take it, or check with the management before you confirm the room. Expect for this I had a wonderful stay in this place, and will definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Check the rooms beforehand, it was one the lowest end rooms I stayed.

The warmest and most professional hotel staff you could ask for. We were joyfully met at 4 am in the morning and shown our delightful hotel room with a beautiful balcony. The rooms are clean with lovely white sheets and wonderful towels. We were given a good briefing of the best beaches to visit and places to eat. The lush grounds are beautiful and peaceful and the pool is spotless. Everyone was so friendly. It is a great location and easy for main sights. Would recommend this hotel to all those wanting to stay in Goa.

Room Tip: One of the owners is a Chiropractor who has an office in the resort. People travel from all over th...

This is a very well run place, with great attention to detail. It is clean and and rooms are excellent. The couple who run it are thoughtful and you will enjoy your stay in quiet, and reasonably priced accommodation. Breakfast is not included, but available at the hotel restaurant, which also caters for other meals. Wish there was wifi in the rooms, but available in the reception area. Will definitely stay there in the future!

My friend and I was in Goa in Feb 2013 for 8 days. We first went to South Goa, stayed in 2 hotels, then head to North Goa and stayed in another 2 hotels. When we arrived Hacienda (the third hotel), immediately my body just felt a sense of peace. The garden was beautiful and has wonderful smell of flowers (I'm very sensitive to smells).

The owners of the hotel Thomas and Susan was very helpful to our every request whether is to ask him to talk to our taxi driver for direction or recommending a restaurant. He even upgraded us to a bigger room - having stayed in the previous 2 hotels in South Goa, this is heaven! The room was beautiful with a balcony, the bathroom was big and clean and neat. Susan was just a wonderful lady to talk to.

All of their staff were very friendly, respectful and helpful. The staff in the restaurant comes to check on you on every meal. They makes the best food so far in any of the hotels we stayed at there. My favorite was stuffed masala dosa and a cup of masala tea for breakfast, a great kick start to my day!

We then head to another hotel about 30 mins hoping to be closer to the beach, but if you don't mind taking a cab (they can arrange for you), I highly recommend to just stay in Hacienda because that's what we did, we went back to Hacienda afterwards.

The overall feel of Hacienda was like staying in a very rich, well maintained big family house with a lovely clear and clean swimming pool. The whole feel of it was just unforgettable and I sure will go back again!

This Hotel minded us of a traditional old colonial property with several separate buildings adding to the overall sense of splendour. Check in was quick and efficient and the hotel owner could not have been more helpful. Our room was of a good size and was very clean with a large comfy bed. The bathroom was clean and functional however the shower curtain could have done with either a bit of a bleach or completely replacing. The hotel grounds were beautiful and the scenery of the buildings and surrounding trees lit up at night was extremely pleasing on the eye. The restaurant staff were very friendly and the food was very tasty and very reasonably priced and they had a fully stocked bar! We were only here for 2 nights so spent our time lounging round the pool which was a good size and very clean.

The WiFi is only available if you sit outside reception which whilst not exactly a hardship in this day and age and in a lovely property like is not really acceptable. If not in the rooms then at the very least it should be available at the pool and restaurant. We rely on WiFi not only for keeping in touch with our friends and family but also for making onward travel arrangements so having to leave the room or the pool in order to connect was a bit of a pain.

We had no breakfast included in the room rate which we thought made the overall cost for our stay a little higher than it should be however the breakfast at the restaurant was good value and delicious.

This place was a bit away from the resorts, which means hoping in taxis a lot (unless you think like other traveler's that Indian Roads are so much safer than back home, I should definitely hire a scooter without a helmet, weird) but it's worth it as it's so clean and quiet with a beautiful pool. Thomas on reception couldn't have been more helpful sorting a doctor for me very quickly the first day, when Indian belly got me (from before I arrived in Goa I should add) and directing us to some nice things to see. The rooms were nice but the pool was the cake icing really. If we went back to Goa we'd probably spend some nights on a beach and some nights here.
