We stayed in this boutique resort last year. One would wonder where you heading till the time you discover this hidden Gem up a hill in Anjuna through unwinding rustic village roads. It was completely new experience to spend our vacation in this exclusive resort. This time we planned to stay again at Nirvana Hermitage & were surprised to see change in the cottage interiors. Unique designed furniture with lounge chairs & coffee table in the verandah’s. We were glad to see the same staff who took personal care of us from the time we checked in until check out. We tried variety of cuisine viz. Indian, tandoor, Continental, Goan from their menu & as always it was simply amazing. Very friendly & professional staff. Always smiling & ready to guide/help you for anything. We are glad to be a part of Nirvana Hermitage family. It’s a home away from home. We have already made plans for our next visit at this homely place which is going to be very long as we do want to experience their much talked about traditional Houseboat ‘Just-A-Saiil’ .
Cheers!!! For such a great job. Keep it up...

Though not exactly near the beach, the location among the hills is a welcome break from the bustling crowds of North Goa. Though it needs a little effort to find the hotel and road leading to it is rather bumpy (it was when we visited last year, no idea of current situation). The rooms are well furnished and well equipped with great washrooms too. The disappointment though was food. It wasn't bad, though one expects great food in Goa. It was as good as any other good restaurant in Pune / Mumbai. Nothing extraordinary. Service too was mediocre. Hotel seemed short staffed at the time we visited (and hardly occupied). Worth one night's stay, not more.

This hotel and its staff helped a lot.

From the pickup from Airport upto the drop back, it was really a very comforatble experience.

The food is great, really enjoyable. The pool facing rooms are really gorgeous, spacious and families actually would love it.

My husband & I recently visited Nirvana hermitage. WOW!!! What a romantic getaway, A Complete hidden Gem. Right from the time of Reservation till Checkout, everybody in this Boutique Resort has been amazing. We booked us with the reservation team at Nirvana Hermitage. We had a lot of query where the reservation team needed to answer. Each & every point of ours related to the stay was replied in detail. This made us easy to decide & be put up in such a beautiful resort. We have been travelling to a lot of destinations & staying with only exclusive resorts, trust this is one of the finest property as compared to most run on the mill resorts in Goa.
The Nirvana Hermitage has a wide landscape view with a partial view of the sea. lush greenery & private sitouts. Anjuna beach is merely a kilometer away from Nirvana Hermitage. I would surely recommend The Pool View Villa we stayed in, very exclusive & cozy. All cottages have lovely view & offers complete privacy. We saw some peacocks as well.
Excellent choice of mouth watering seafood, Indian & Continental Cuisine. We tried Seafood & Veg food too in a couple of known places but no comparison with Nirvana Hermitage & the kind of ambience it offers while dining. Nirvana hermitage is just 3minute drive from the world famous Flea market, 5minute drive to Saturday Night Market, 10minute drive to Baga & Calangute beach. Staff here is very friendly & service is impeccable with a smile. We will surely plan our monsoon trip soon as I am sure it will be fantastic to be located once again in a Hill + Monsoon retreat.

I just returned last night from Goa after 3N/4D stay. Over the last 20 years i have been visiting Goa frequently and staying in 5 star resorts. This time I decided to try staying at Anjuna and after lot of internet search selected Hotel Nirvana Hermitage which is about 1.5 kms from Anjuna beach by road, 100 meters from German Bakery and areal distance between hotel and ocean should be approximately 200 meters.

I stayed in pool view villa which is quite nice, has separate living and bedroom and gives clear view of pool and partial view of the ocean.

Its a small hotel with about 30 odd rooms having swimming pool besides paid ( about 1 USD per hour) wifi internet at pool, restaurant and reception lobby.

If you are specific regarding nice clean hotel and rooms, pv villas are very nice and breakfast is ok.

But lunch/dinner etc is avoidable here as I tried Indian food over dinner which was not cooked the way it should have been, very bad in taste besides it upset my stomach.

I would recommend this hotel for stay and one can always eat out given the vast choices available in Anjuna, Goa.

Negotiated price at present costs Rs 3000 per night in pv villa which is about USD 65.

Traveled to India this year in September from our two weeks holiday we decided to stay one week at Nirvana Hermitage. The staffs were very welcoming on reception, greeted with a non alcoholic cocktail which was a nice touch. Stayed in sea view cottage, which had a large living room, good size bedroom & elegant bathroom. The WIFI connection was very good through out the property. Visited the famous Anjuna flea market with only 10-15 minutes walking distance form the hotel. The beach (same distance) was a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the sunset.

The Restaurant is well decorated and fully air-conditioned. Our meal was excellent with lots of different flavors and good varieties of food. We wanted to try as well something local and chosen fried King Fish & fish curry which was excellent. The restaurant also offers continental cuisine. For breakfast you have the choice of full English or Indian breakfast.

The pool side bar is superb, you can have a drink while you are in the pool & you can also seat around the pool, have light snacks with beautiful landscape which the hotel is surrounded with and listening to the bird chirping.

Jacuzzi and steam bath is well presented, my partner enjoyed a full body massage wile I joined a yoga class to relax soul and body. Both were very relaxing for soul and body after a long day of sightseeing.

Through the hotel we arrange a chauffeur who showed us many different beaches, temples and a waterfall.
I must say it was a really good choice, the best decision made by my partner to stay at nirvana hermitage.
