Location is good. Just 5 minutes to Jonker Street. Reception Staff are very helpful and nice except for that old rude Aunty at the Cafe during morning Breakfast. She acts like she is the Boss there. Shouting at Customers for Breakfast Slip like nobody's business and watch people eating like a Hawk. Very irritating. Room Bedsheet and Pillow cases are not clean and not comfortable. Toilet door is quite old.. Really need to brush up.

Stayed here for 3 nights, good location, within walking distance to the famous Jonker St. Nothing to brag about but it was functional, rooms were good enough, price was not overly expensive, get what you pay for, no complaints from our party of 7 people. You want better, pay more.

Checked in this hotel on Saturday June30th with parents and sis,as parents were there for a relatives wedding ,me and sis decided to do some shopping in Jonker's saturday night market.Overall this hotel appeared like a budget hotel and i was skeptical however we had no choice as there were no rooms in the other hotels, and decided to give it a try.We were given the family room with one single bed and 1 queen bed,the room was 315.It was cosy large, and everything in the room was new and refurbished and even the bathroom was clean and new with shower facilities. The room was large and had ample space to accomodate 4 persons.

The morning greeted us with insistent"quack, quacks"coming from somewhere nearby apparently a man has a mini farm with two ducks and some chickens who were hungry by 7am,however they quietened down after being fed :o).we had 3 breakfast vouchers for breakfast and the food was pretty neat too no frills but had some variety, the coffee was just superb.

after that we walked around back to Jonker's for more shopping,if you have time stop by at the heritage house or voyager's cafe they have simple snacks for breakfast and its cheap..me and sis had dinner on Saturday night at Jonker's itself at this neat bistro called "Eleven Bistro" the waiter there is really friendly and helpful.i had portugese fried rice and sis had noodles which came in huge helpings...and we couldn't even finish it.Go and have dinner at this place its such a treat with ample helpings!!!

Overall,Jonkers can get pretty crowded late at night but the bargains are worth it ;o)

I have bring my family together with me for my business trip in Melaka recently. Due to fantastic location of Hotel Hallmark Leisure, so we decide to spent weekend with them. We are a family of 2 adult , 1 children and a maid, so we have book 01 unit Family Room with them. When we arrive at there, hotel lobby is cleen and well maintain, it looks like they have just renovate the hotel.Front desk personeel greet us with a warm smile. check-in was smooth and fast as they already have my details , and i just pass my passport for check-in procedure. We were suprise that with a 2 star hotel like them do provide free wlcome drink and breakfast is include at the price of only 200++ in ringgit malaysia( not more then 100 Singapore Dollars.)

when we step into the room, the room was big with 2 queen size bed and quite a sapce for us to put some chidren thing and luggage. The room was cleen and well maintain, thumbs up for their housekeeping personnel as their toilet was install with bidet seet on every room which is imported unit. wonder how much it has cost them. each time we went down and pass by the lobby, the front desk personnel would greet us and show to us politely how to walk to each tourism destination. The greatest thing is their fantastic location, only 5 minutes walk to the Jonker Walk, my children was very happy with the jonker, as there is a lot of nice food and things that is consider very cheap with other place. but remember that, pasar malam( Night Bazar) at jonker only available on friday, saturday and sunday.

they do have parking in front and also behind hotel. if the parking is full, they do have private parking that need to pay money, but u can claim back with the hotel. Breakfast is simple and suit our appetide. mee gorengor mihun goreng , fried rice, with scramble egg, sasauge, and also bread with ample choice of jam. not forget to try the delicious local coffee that is also provide at no charge from the hotel for breakfast.

It was a sleepless night for me at this place; I was attacked by bedbugs and I couldn't wait for morning to come just so I could leave this place.

The first time the bedbugs attacked, I went downstairs to request for a change of rooms. It was accepted, but there was no apology whatsoever. After moving to the next room, I got bitten again, and having killed the bug, tried to get some sleep, only to be woken up by another series of bites. After that I just didn't want to sit anywhere else in the dingy, eerie-looking room.

Once you enter the "lobby" (more like a mere entrance) of the hotel, your expectations are immediately lowered. The corridor along the rooms reeks of stale cigarette smoke and when you enter the room, the bedsheets spot stains, and the toilet door is disgustingly dirty with unexplainable marks and stains.

If you don't want to mar your holiday trip, avoid this hotel at all costs. The location is not fantastic either!

Room Tip: Avoid the hotel completely.

I guess by Malaysian standards this hotel is ok but I never felt comfortable, the bed linen was clean but stained, the toilet blocked the first time used and I didn't even attempt to go and eat breakfast. I was glad to only be spending one night and very happy to leave the next morning. They could try harder with not much effort to make this comfortable but it was inexpensive and so sometimes we get what we pay for.

Room Tip: Ok if you are there for a quick visit but lacks a soul and is really just somewhere to rest your hea...
