We tried their Nyonya Steamboat with the spicy soup. At the beginning, it felt like tomyam soup but as we progressed, we found it to be a unique blend of spicy, tangy and slightly concoction - somewhat of an assam pedas if you like - truly exquisite with an awesome aroma. We also tried their fried chicken and nyonya style fried rice. All were excellent. The Ice Kacang was extremely generous. I would say for 2 to share. Will definitely visit again time permitting.

I have steamboat at Seri Nyonya Restaurant with my family. I ordered the spicy and the other hald non-spicy broth. Both turns out to be good but the spicy soup is not that spicy but infact taste sweet!! There are quite a generous portion of dishes such as slice beef, chicken, prawns, assorted yong tau foo and so on. However, there is no crab to be seen as shown in the menu picture. Somehow, I felt cheated but did not consult the friendly and attentive waitress. Because of their politeness, I did not wish to make a complain.
Their Nyonya pie tee and cendol are superb but overpriced. Must ordered!

Headed to this restaurant for lunch during our recent family holiday because of the high ratings on Tripadvisor. Unfortunately, the food did not taste half as good as any of the peranakan restaurants we tried in the heritage area around Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock & Jonker Street. Not a single dish recommended to us as being the restaurant's specialties lived up to their reputation. You can certainly give this a miss.

Came here based on the high ratings on TripAdvisor. We ordered the ayam pongteh, udang lemak nenas, otak otak, popiah and telur dadar cincaluk. The popiah was okay. Otak otak came cold. Not sure if it was supposed to be eaten cold? Ayam pongteh was good. Udang lemak nenas was terrible. The the shrimps were devilishly hard to peel. Not sure if they were overcooked but they certainly weren't fresh at all! We sent the dish back and they didn't charge us for that. The eggs were rather tasteless. Not sure if the chef wasn't in the mood for cooking that night but we were certainly unpleased. Only one waitress was working on that night and she didn't seem to be liking that arrangement too.
