We stayed at Hatten Hotel Melaka. It is a brand new hotel that is right smack in the middle of the busy shopping area and famous eating spots all about Melaka.
Getting around is easy with taxis a plenty. However, the traffic within Melaka is something else to be braved by the traveler to this historical and culturally rich city.
The room we had, a Junior Suite, was nice and big. We had a view of central KL while the other side of the hotel face The Straits of Malacca.
As there were 3 of us, we were surprised by the size of the room which was able to take a spare bed easily.
The hotel has a nice pool, which was popular with the guests; the dinning area for breakfast was huge.
Connected to the hotel is a small mall, and there was a connecting bridge to the a bigger mall opposite the hotel.
As I mentioned earlier, this hotel is near to many famous eating spots around Melaka and we were able to just walk to over.
