We met Ajit at the bus station and after a slightly traumatic night bus was not ready to deal with being sold something, but he wasn't pushy in the slightest and was amazingly helpful with giving us and all our bags a lift. The room was lovely and clean, shared showers and toilets but in really good condition and even had hot water. Breakfast was a DIY deal, but loads of bread, eggs and fruit.
The location is awesome too, just a few minutes walk from the main part of the city. The only downside was that we asked reception to call a taxi for us at 21.00 to get us to the bus station (about 15 minutes away) for our bus at 22.00. At ten past we were told the taxi would be another then minutes, then again at twenty past, and finally at half past we were told it wouldn't be coming due to the night market and having to run through jam packed streets with our bags to find a taxi did put a downer on the whole thing. Thank god the bus was late or we wouldn't have made it.
Overall, would recommend any day of the week, just don't order a taxi from reception.More
