“Colourful place to relax,”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

it is a good place to take a break from the heat an humidity of Melaka. The fountain itself in nothing to write home about . but its position in the centre of town, the welcome shade of the huge trees around it and the hawkers selling cool coconut drinks are great. It is a wonderful place to take a break and watch Melaka go by.

“Fountain of Vibrance”
Reviewed 30 July 2014 via mobile

The month was December, but it was hot and humid, and at times, sweltering, even in shorts and a sleeveless top. The pink structure stood against the fountain. The loud slush of the water, if anything, provided a guise of coolness and relaxation, but not really. The area surrounding it is alive with colours as in the floral rickshaws and the multiple nationalities ofpeople walking about. Food is readily available all around, such as canned lychee coolers. After touring Malacca, having a sit in the fountain with a cold drink in hand is the best way to end.

“Funky trishaws”
Reviewed 5 July 2014

Lots of these colorful trishaws parked near the Queen Victoria Fountain and Christ Church. They are as much of a "sight" as the architecture.

Reviewing the history of this location gives an insight into local history. These pink brick buildings were very interesting.

“Brings me back to UK”
Reviewed 10 May 2014 via mobile

Not a fan of history and don't really know the story behind this fountain.
However, looking at it was exciting, just as if it was there at the right moment and the right place.
Standing there brings me back to the Trafalgar square in the UK.
A lot of activities going on there with lots of people taking photos. By just looking at it ia fun enough.
