“Nice unique gallery”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

It's a small nice gallery with the works of art of Li Chi Mao, a Taiwanese artist. The art of painting is using ancient chinese painting technic by brush on black ink. So amazing. If you into chinese paintings, this is a definitely a must visit.

PS:
We tried to look the location based on location from trip Advisor but couldn't find it. On the way back we luckily passed by it. I uploaded a screenshot of where the exact location to help other travellers.

“Small art museum exhibiting about 20 works of Li Chi Mao. Very good short, free visit. Recommended if in area.”
Reviewed 10 February 2014

As with many places we saw in Melaka, we stumbled upon this art museum while walking down the street and decided to enter, especially because of free admission. It is a relatively small museum, two floors, and exhibiting the work of only one artist. But I found the artwork quite intriguing and the museum was definitely worth a short visit. Expect to spend no more than 30 minutes here, unless you're a art fanatic and maybe a bit longer.

From their website: The Li Chi Mao Art House in Malacca is one of the dedicated centre of museum-quality works of renowned artist Prof. Li Chi Mao (born Woyang County, Anhuei Province, China, 1925), who is considered a national treasure of Taiwan. It was officiated by Yang Di-Pertua Negeri Melaka Tun Datuk Seri Utama Mohd Khalil Yaakob on October 8, 2009.
