We stayed at the Grand Deluxe Suite, we were greeted with warmth by the counter people. We manage to check in earlier than our initial checking in timing. They brought us around the boutique showing us the breakfast area, kids play pan and a mini museum of Melaka within the premises of the compound.

The room was very spacious, toilet was big and the bed was very comfortable. My only comment was that the aircon takes a while to kick in and cool the room as again the room was big, maybe even huge. They do not allow the AC to be turned on while you're not in it BUT you can contact me if you want to know how. Haha.

Breakfast was good, small spread of local delights.

Room Tip: Spacious room.

Stayed at their largest suite last night (on the third floor facing the street in front on the hotel - - room 301). The room was huge, modern, very clean with comfortable bed and a day bed. We were very happy with the hotel and our room until night came.

We could not sleep until 2 am+ due to all the noise from the street in front of the hotel. Those party rickshaws passed every minute with music turned up all the way until passed 1 am. There were also loud motorcycles passing in between those rickshaws. We could also hear every conversation and every laughter from the street. Felt like we were sleeping on the street.

We paid for their best room yet it turned out to be the worse room to sleep in EVER!
The room we had should not be used as a guest room.

We will never come back to this hotel.

Booked the Junior Suite for two nights. Room was huge and comes with a day bed. Loved the bathrobe - not the thin ones you get at some cheaper hotels.

Staff was really nice and he did a tour for us as it was a heritage hotel. The whole hotel was well lit and there are plenty of sitting spaces around. Great if you like to take selfies.

Breakfast is simple but sufficient for me. The Maciks tending the breakfast were smiley and very helpful. Tip: they do omelette and fried eggs but you have to ask for it.

Not for people who don’t like stairs, showers are a little leaky and water was not strong (flushing for toilet also) and windows come with blinds so I supposed if someone stared hard enough they can see into the room.

Overall enjoyed myself as the bed was cosy and the room was spacious and airy. Staff try very hard to make the guests feel pleased and they greet you when they see you in the common spaces. There was an electric insect repellent in the room as well, it was a nice touch although we didn’t get a mosquito problem in the room.

We stayed here for two nights over the Easter break given the good reviews.

Pros: clean sheets and room, comfortable bed which afforded good sleep, large room, friendly staff, heritage building.

Cons: Not enough hooks or towel racks in the bathroom. Bathroom blinds transparent so no privacy. Pot shower was leaky so water everywhere. Not many options for breakfast but taste ok. Our room faced the road so it was very noisy due to the cycle rickshaws and their loud music.

Would I stay here again? Probably not. Am sure there are better hotels available for the price we paid.

Room Tip: Not the ones facing the road.

A group of us stayed at this hotel for two nights and the hotel is quite the charming place. Staff were attentive and helpful without being intrusive and the rooms were large, clean, with very comfortable beds and great modern bathrooms.
Breakfasts a simple but suit a wide range of tastes and there is even a kids play area to keep them occupied while the "oldies" get their coffee and eggs etc.
The hotel is only one street away from the Tourist strip and a short walk to the few bars and clubs in the town centre. There are a number of good spa's in close proximity together with shops and galleries that are well worth a visit.
A quick thank you to all the staff and we would certainly stay there again
