We went after reading excellent reviews and some raves from folks we knew. I thought at first we were in the wrong place - you know the snack bars/convenience stores that are found on the ground floor of office buildings? It's in one of those. Don't be fooled - Chef Max makes everything from scratch, including spaetzle. in that little space. On the first visit, I had the German Dumplings with Country Ham - spaetzle with *lots* of Gruyere and flecks of Westphalian ham. My friend had the Butchers Cordon Bleu - Veal loaf stuffed with ham & swiss, then lightly breaded and pan-fried. Both came with salad - too much food! All was excellent. Everything is cooked when you order. If above-average food at a reasonable price is what you're after, check it out!
