“Worth a stop. The food is good, as is the service.”
Reviewed 7 December 2013

We were looking somewhere nice to have dinner out the last night we were visiting in Mobile. Zea's was a nice surprise. It had a nice atmosphere. Our waiter was nice and had lots of suggestions. He offered us samples of their cheesy grits, which were wonderful. Being from the midwest, I think of grits being like cream of wheat. Zea's were a pleasant surprise. We had the wet ribs and was brought a sample of the thai ribs. They thai ribs were good, but we didn't want an entire order of them. We also had the sirlion crusted with fennel. The sirlion was tender and juicy. We had sides of snap peas, both plain and with thai sauce, both delicious. The mashed sweet potatoes, although creamy, lacked flavor. The roasted potatoes were good, but pretty salty. There wasn't room for dessert, but our waiter also brought us a small piece of their signature bread pudding. It was to die for!! He even boxed it up to go. It was even better after it got cold in the fridge at our hotel.

“Really good: both food and service”
Reviewed 29 November 2013

Zea was a great choice for our business dinner. Service was just right: not too rushed and not too slow. Everyone enjoyed their orders. My choices were the Zeasar salad (very good!) and the Thai Rib Stack - delicious! (But quite salty.) SO tender, the ribs literally fell off the bone. Looking forward to my next visit, when I'll definitely save room for the chocolate brownie dessert!

“Went out of our way to eat here!”
Reviewed 24 October 2013

My husband and I were on our way to Biloxi to go to a concert on Friday night, Oct. 11th. We PLANNED our trip so that we could eat at Zea's! We fell in love with this restaurant when our daughter was living in Mobile. The food and service are wonderful. We were there for a late lunch and there was no wait. Even so, the restaurant was almost full. We asked it we could split an order and was immediately told "yes". Sometimes, the servers have to go ask. When our order of red beans and rice with delicious fried chicken arrived, it had already been divided into two servings. I was just expecting to dish some out on a plate. I was also prepared to pay for the extra plate but there was no charge on the bill either. We will definitely stop again whenever we travel that way again.

“Loved Everything”
Reviewed 3 October 2013

After reading several reviews, we decided to see for ourselves what others had enjoyed. They were spot on. The décor is very pleasing and comfortable making us feel quite at ease. We were promptly seated and our server, Scott, explained the menu and worked with us on our selections. Tuna sashimi stack, excellent as was the spinach salad and the pistachio salmon, and the wet ribs. The staff was pleasant and always asked how we liked our choices and how we were doing.
It is always a great when the staff works as a team to make sure your dining experience is a good one and make one feel wanted. This will be a "must" everytime we are in town.

“Great atmosphere, Great Service”
Reviewed 17 September 2013 via mobile

I have eaten at Zea many times and am usually happy with my food. The only drawback is that their cooks can be a bit heavy handed with the salt. Otherwise, it's good Cajun food that's not too spicy. For an awesome treat, be sure to have the roasted corn grits as an appetizer. You can look forward to great service and a nice romantic atmosphere while dining here.
