We were looking somewhere nice to have dinner out the last night we were visiting in Mobile. Zea's was a nice surprise. It had a nice atmosphere. Our waiter was nice and had lots of suggestions. He offered us samples of their cheesy grits, which were wonderful. Being from the midwest, I think of grits being like cream of wheat. Zea's were a pleasant surprise. We had the wet ribs and was brought a sample of the thai ribs. They thai ribs were good, but we didn't want an entire order of them. We also had the sirlion crusted with fennel. The sirlion was tender and juicy. We had sides of snap peas, both plain and with thai sauce, both delicious. The mashed sweet potatoes, although creamy, lacked flavor. The roasted potatoes were good, but pretty salty. There wasn't room for dessert, but our waiter also brought us a small piece of their signature bread pudding. It was to die for!! He even boxed it up to go. It was even better after it got cold in the fridge at our hotel.
