What a wonderful resource! There are 6 different eco systems and about 10-11 miles of trails for bikers and walkers. Terrific exercise in a beautiful area!

We are in OBA for 2 weeks and have walked 2 of the trails so far. Our fave is Catman. We walk 2 miles as we are new to this, but we are enjoying it. Gotta' be better than sitting on our bums for that time, right? They are dog friendly and well kept. They are paved and everyone you meet is friendly. Wish we had these at home. Lots of bike riders, too. Nice parking lot. Safe areas.

The trail system on Orange Beach is great for walking, jogging, biking, and roller blading. Paved and unpaved trails wind through the woods and bayous in middle of the the island. Quarter-mile markings help you know how far you've gone. Some areas are shaded, but many are in full sun, so wear a hat and sunblock. Insect repellant is also a good idea. Maps are available.
